Which has nothing to do with anything, just another MST3K quote.

Okay, I wrote! A little! Four paragraphs! GAH. Two were for the next Pendulum, which I'm stalled in partly because I'm having a hell of a time with the descriptions in a flashback. I did look up samurai clothing, but where I put the info? No idea. And the other is my next Zangeal smutty short, which Genesis has hijacked and made me start with him tormenting his therapist. Yes, to answer what you're all thinking. Amarissia does put psychiatrists in every story. I need them. I mean, the characters do.

In effort to prepare for Madness sequel (which Genesis also demands to start off), am replaying Dirge of Cerberus. It's fraying my nerves slightly less this time, which doesn't say much, especially since I now have to constantly check to see if I'm getting the memory capsules, and I think I already missed five or six, and GAH I suck at shooters. They make me go all scary-eyed and hiss at the TV. Which I did. Sephy, however, saw through my blatant attempt to Section 8 my way out of gameplay and would not take the controller, and is very twitchy on account of Valentine trying to nail his mother and all the Hojo sightings, etc. Zack refuses to play a game that has only guns, no swords, Genesis just had a manicure, and Cloud is too busy shrieking hellos at Vincent and searching for his new playmate from FFXIII. Um, found him yet, Mona?

Sooooo. Off to do some Japanese and wait for eBay seller to get back to me. I bought a laptop case, received binoculars. It'll be hell keeping them away from Genesis.

*hugs all*

It was very weird, because I started off describing the variety in Final Fantasy villains (I was playing Dissida) and then I got to Sephy and it just kind of exploded. My mum tuned out when I started trying to explain Crisis Core I think.

Oh yeah, the game would've been much worse. By the way, did you know that they've released FFIX on the PS Network now. That's something else I've got to play. Because of Kuja. Just Kuja.

*pets Zack*

I generally get to Sephy and then just start squeeing. :)

FFIX? If you play, tell me about it. I don't think I know anything about that one; I wasn't positive it existed. :)

I find that once I get to Sephy and Genesis and Angeal then it gets very hard to rein in the comments such as 'and you wouldn't believe the sexual tension between those three... and Zack.'

If I do get around to playing IX then it will be because of Kuja. Kuja rocks. I like to think that Kuja and Sephy are BFFs in Dissidia and swap hair-care hints while bitching about the other villains and Cloud and Zidane being scared of them.

After all, you can't look that fabulous without wanting to flaunt it.
Sunday, June 27th, 2010 03:24 pm (UTC)
It is very hard to not talk about the Trio's sexual tension and their Puppy love-slave. :) I mean, you instinctively want to share the glory, right?

Zidane! I've heard of him! So he's from IX, huh? Is he the Cloud to Kuja's Sephy?
Sunday, June 27th, 2010 08:47 pm (UTC)
People who can't see the sexual tension between those four are obviously blind. That goes quadruple for Seifer and Squall because the game was basically about the sexual tension between those two.

But yes, I do find it hard not to share the glory. Very hard.

Well, Zidane isn't exactly the Cloud to Kuja's Sephy. For one thing they're sort of brothers. I say sort of because I never really got that bit. And he's a bit of a womaniser and very happy-go-lucky. But him and Kuja definitely have something going on between them. Beyond the brother thing anyway, and Kuja's inferiority complex.

Okay, that settles it, Square Enix can't make it's villains be anythin but clinically insane. I have one word for you: Kefka.
Monday, June 28th, 2010 04:01 pm (UTC)
Kefka! I've heard of him too! Okay, so he's the Sephy? :)

You say 'brothers', I think 'incest'. Fandom has corrupted me...

My mother once walked in and saw me and my sis playing FFVIII, and after a few minutes asked us if Squall and Seifer were together. We were like "HA! See, it's true!" :)
Monday, June 28th, 2010 04:09 pm (UTC)
Nah, Kefka's in a different game. I think it was six. He's an insane clown obsessed with magic girl Terra.

I'm always open to incest. ALWAYS. I got into fandom because of incest. Although, not too much of it in real life please, that'd be really really weird. But in out minds it's okay, yes? Besides, as far as we know Zidane and Kuja are both male (that's questionable for Kuja actually) so nothing can really come of it. Also, they hardly know each other. So it's perfectly possible.

Your mum is so totally awesome.
Tuesday, June 29th, 2010 03:44 am (UTC)
Oh, I vaguely remember Terra. I saw my sister play some of this one. Is that the one with Espers?

In games and anime, everything is okay, most especially incest and unequal relationships. :) Wait waaait, so Kuja is some sort of tranny? Excellent.
Tuesday, June 29th, 2010 10:10 am (UTC)
Yeah, I think that's the one with the Espers. Keep on meaning to actually play the damn thing.

Yup that's one of the best things about games and anime: anything goes.

Well, like I said, as far as we know Kuja is male. But he acts not male, except for that whole 'I like destroying things' thing. He is a genetically modified experiment, otherwise known as a genome and can turn into some weird monkey human furry hybrid thing. The best thing for you to do is go look at pictures. Try the Dissidia ones, they're better quality. http://finalfantasy.wikia.com/wiki/Kuja/Dissidia

There're pictures there. He has a tail. :)
Tuesday, June 29th, 2010 02:38 pm (UTC)
Aha...I can see why there's gender confusion.

Cloud: "He can turn into a monkey? Awesome! My friend Vinnie can turn into a bat!"
Tuesday, June 29th, 2010 05:08 pm (UTC)
But he talks like a man. I was listening to the voice thingies on Dissidia and one of them is him saying 'You think you can dominate me?' which makes me giggle. Sometimes they're really funny, those voice dowackies. For example, if you lose playing as Squall, sometimes he says 'I was defeated by boredom'.

Yay, I like bats. And Vincent. Vincent is very cool. He's one of my favourites.
Wednesday, June 30th, 2010 05:24 pm (UTC)
LOL...Dissidia sounds so interesting, except for all the fighting. I'm so not good at fighting...*tries to remember what platform it's on*

*snicker* Everything bores Squall.

Cloud: "Vinnie is awesome!" *bounce bounce* "But he doesn't like hugs. I think I scare him when I hug him."

Dissidia is awesome. It's for the PSP and while the learning curve can be pretty steep, you're usually better than your opponents. And even if you are losing, you can always leave, train up some more and then go back again.

Besides, you can play as Sephiroth. Heck, you can play as oops-I've-lost-my-coat!Sephiroth if you want to. And there's something called Command Mode which I haven't tried, but is meant to be for people who don't like the whole 'think on your feet, real time' thing.

Yup, his famous 'Gone talking to a wall' catchphrase is back. And Cloud seems to have caught some apathy, because he keeps on saying 'Not interested'. But Cloud's really sweet, cause he gets all shy sometimes and he keeps on going on about people reminding him about 'a person I once knew'.

And Sephiroth says 'Cloud' in that way that gives me shivers.

Let's all go hug Vincent. He needs some hugs after all those years spent in a coffin. Can't Zack make him used to hugs?

I've really gotta get a PSP. I need to play Crisis Core eventually anyway... :) Also, my favorite clerk at GameStop told me you can apparently play PS3 games on it if you know a certain trick. *shrug*

Topless Sephy? OMG. And awww, Cloud, pretending he's not interested. Yeah, the Dissidia clips I've seen were awesome. I think Nomura is slowly making Seph/Cloud canon.

Zack: *laughs* "You should see Vincent when we visit him. He's not used to Choir!Cloud yet, and when Cloud glomps him, he just freezes."

Saturday, July 3rd, 2010 02:12 pm (UTC)
Trust me, Crisis Core is one of the most brilliant games you will ever play.
Besides, you can also download FFVII and various other PS1 games to play on it. Imagine, the freedom to play FFVII wherever you want.

Nomura rocks like that. Oh, and when Sephy goes into super-awesome mode he gets his wing out and can fly around. And one of his attacks is Black Materia. 'Nuff said.

Aww, poor Vincent. He needed more hugs when he was younger. Just expose him to hugs lots, he should get used to it pretty quickly.
Sunday, July 4th, 2010 02:38 pm (UTC)
AGH! *is weakening* About how big a PSP?

Winged!Sephy!

Sephy: "I would have rather had two wings."

Yes, we know.

Cloud: *giggle* "Vinnie needs lots of hugs, yep, that's why I hug him. He just pats my head and waits for me to let go, but I'll make him like hugs, you'll see!" *bounce*
Sunday, July 4th, 2010 02:47 pm (UTC)
PSPs are handheld, so... not gigantic? The screen is quite large for a handheld, at least mine is, but they're always bringing out new versions. I think you can get the older ones cheaper and they can still play all the games, you just need to do software updates every once in a while.

You look good with one wing, Sephy, although it is a constant mystery as to why you don't just fly in circles with it.

With your help Cloud, Vincent will be used to hugging in no time.
Monday, July 5th, 2010 02:51 pm (UTC)
*resisting* Noooo, next system I upgrade to will be PS3, but... *twitches*

AGH! :)

Sephy: "I find it perplexing myself."
Cloud: *giggle, bounce*
