Update, Samurai-Spanking, Miracle Whip (Not As Dirty As It Sounds, Unfortunately)

I've gotten unexpectedly ahead on the typing, so I figured there's no reason not to update. :)

So ahead, in fact, that I've been able to rest my fingers and do some other fun stuff. I didn't make a note of who recommended the manga of Ayane Yamano to me, but whoever it was, thank you! She won me over with Ikoku Iroikoi Romantan, and then I really liked that Loveprize...Finder...thingy. I don't remember precisely what it was called. And now I'm reading Crimson Spell. I love this mangaka! I've noticed that the main characters often look the same in different works, and I like that. It's like following the same people through different dimensions.

And though I'm still disappointed about Mr. Internet not having in its vastness the more recent episodes of Tenchijin, at least I'm getting to revisit the early episodes. And I had a chance to confirm something I thought I might have hallucinated. HA, I knew it! I KNEW I didn't imagine the samurai-spanking! Wikipedia was right, those dudes were horny. :)

Yes, this is the sort of thing I get up to. I'm not all angst, you know. Just mostly.

Finally, apropos of nothing, is anyone else getting annoyed at the new Miracle Whip commercials? Miracle Whip, you are not edgy, stop pretending before I ban you from my sandwiches for eternity.

Yamano is amazing. I wish she would do a FFVII doujin. That would pretty much be the most flawless victory ever.

You might want to check out Inariya Fusanosuke's work as well. Gorgeous stuff. There's also Shin Mizukami, Hoshino Lily, Ike Reibun and Takeshi Matsu just to mention some of my favourites. ;3

I love Miracle Whip...but I'm not fond of their new attitude. :)
