Decided to play Fatal Frame II on Nightmare mode, because am idiot. Decided to play late into the night, because am even bigger idiot than I was in the previous sentence. Writer's block makes me do dumb things, like put myself through full-on, crawling-ghosts, kimono-wearing J-horror jigoku for the sake of unlocking costumes. Even with my trusty Super-Maxed-Out Camera of Death and Destruction, I'm getting my ass handed to me by ghosts I used to kill in one hit. Disconcerting. So much so that I've managed to blank on Midsummer, which I have done without fail since I was thirteen. GAH. I'm a terrible Pagan. :)

Someone please tie my hands to a notebook and make me write.

Well scaring yourself 'til you jump when the microwave goes off (oh yeah, speakin' from personal experiences, yes plural) is all sorts of fun don'tcha know.

I kinda wish pagan holidays were more popular, we might have less trouble remembering when they are... You're not alone, I've managed to miss it to. *sigh*

I still remember the very first time that I played Tomb Raider. It was early in the morning - around 3 am - I was sitting in front of the computer upstairs in my office/library room, everything was totally dark (it being so late, or rather, early...) except for the monitor, and my best friend was sitting next to me, guiding me through the game. I was being *very* careful and slooooowly sneaking along a dark gallery, because I didn't know what to expect from the game.

And then this *giant* wolf jumps out at me from the side!

I think they heard my scream all the way down in the village. *ggg*

My friend was lying on the floor, literally laughing her ass off while I tried to stop having a heart-attack. ^___^;

I'm horrible with that. Whenever I get shocked, I flail and splutter, so sitting next to me while I play DoC is not safe. Amazing how you can play a game so many times and sitll get shocked when a baddie jumps out at you. My mother suggested waking us all up at 3 in the morning to drive to Stonehenge, because we live about an hour away, but no-one else wanted to...
*ties to notebook* Gen, I know this is a big sacrifice, but it's for the sake of the readers! Put on the most shoujo anime series you can find, and don't turn it off until she has written an entire chapter (or better yet, a new Decorum!). Try Tokyo Mew Mew. She'll crack in 10 seconds.

Aaah the joys of playing Nightmare Mode in the middle of summer xD Although I recommend being careful with the remote. Unless you're not the type of person that jumps and unconsciously lets go of the remote like me and my sister ¬_¬'' The poor thing's been trough a lot already....

Awwww, chica. No te preocupes. I forgot until I was walking through La Mesa and saw a faery ring and just about had a freakout that I'd forgotten. And that I didn't have my camera so I could show you. Magic in the air!!!!!

Nothing like playing DEADSPACE in the basement at three in the morning with the sound muffled and then cranked up. TERRIFYING. I couldn't sleep with the door closed for weeks, and I'm usually the kind of person who sleeps in a CAVE - door closed, curtains drawn, hall lights off, everything DARK.

Speaking of having asses handed back (beaten numerous times, in my case) the Cid of FFXIII keeps bludgeoning my poor medic to death, with me yelling "DON'T KICK MY MEDIC WHILE HE'S DOOWWN!!!!" And it just so happens to be the Sephy/Cloud behbeh. *sniffle* Stop it Cid, you SLIMY BASTARD!!!! Sephy, tackle him!!!!!! *grabs Hope for a cuddle* Babbyyyyyyyy!!!!

Wow, you are a lot braver than me! I can't play those kind of games without having terrible nightmares/jumping at every sound. I remember watching my boyfriend play Silent Hill 2, since I couldn't finish it myself... I hid under the bed.
