Gone because of copyright infringement, huh? :( Sucks.
Hmmm...what's it called? Though I'm sure it would bring Zack nothing but strife, I could probably find it on one of my various virus-filled sites if I tried hard enough.
Yeah...gah, if I could remember what it was called, I could probably find it somewhere, though untranslated. Um...I think the first word started with 'Y', then I think the phrase "toge ga aru" was in there. Hold on, *Googles*, AHA! "Yasashikute", gah, what a tongue-twister. HEE, I think I may have found them...thank you, though. I appreciate that you would have battled viruses for me. *hugs*
Still sad about the vids, though, they were so convenient for torturing Zack with.
Oooh, i'm sorry to hear that, well, i only downloaded the Seph and Cloud yaoi drama cd you posted sometime back, so, if you don't have it, i can upload it somewhere. I don't have the rest
Don't worry, someone will upload it again. Have you tried aarinfantasy? They have loads of stuff, and I'm pretty sure you could find the audio clips there. Or, if you give me the name of the series, I could have a look, and send you them if I find them. You can try, Powers of Copyright, but the fangirls shall be victorious!
I hate when videos get removed for copyright infringement because it always kicks off a massive argument in my head between my inner fangirl ("it wasn't hurting anyone! it was expanding the fanbase for the author! it was drop dead sexy!") and my inner librarian ("it's up to the original author to decide when and if his work should be translated, and having someone else do it for free ruins the chance for possible future profits. weakening copyright is bad for all creators. would you like someone to swipe that embarrassing yaoi story you're working on and post it all over the internet without your permission?"). Then my inner grownup has to settle things ("knock off the arguing or we're not going to Dairy Queen tonight!").
I do the same thing...it's especially annoying when I plan to buy, say, a CD, but can't find it and only have what's online, or online is the only place there's a translation for it, or...AGH.
I salve my conscience about watching anime online by putting every anime I watch in its entirety, or even some of it, but like, on a list and eventually buying them...don't want the anime industry to collapse because of me, after all. I have to build my collection slowly, though, because I must admit, anime still sometimes makes me nervous, even just having it around. And I haven't worked up to manga yet. *blush*
It must be known how popular smutty Japanese stuff is among English speakers. Someone should get this stuff translated professionally and sell it with the translations, so everyone wins!
Actually, I really think that the *idea* that there are *non*-Japanese out there listening and enjoying these things aren't even a blip on the screen of Japanese publishers. They've *barely* accepted the fact that yes, manga and anime *are* of interest to the rest of the world - but only because they can actually make money off that stuff.
Drama CDs? Why the *hell* would a Gaijin want to buy a Japanese *DRAMA CD*? She can't understand it! >.> And... translations? Why? Let them learn Japanese!
Don't they tend to assume that Japanese is too hard for us? Fair enough, then hand over translations! :) It'll encourage us to learn. Really. Porn is an amazing motivator. It's all for the sake of cultural exchange, honest. :)
Dear Japan,
We want your porny drama CDs because, frankly, your voice actors moan better. Please send a lot of them. Have SuzuKen deliver them. You'll get him back, honest. *snicker*
I'm afraid that we're never going to see those translations, unless someone in the fanverse is willing to make them.
Besides, it's hard enough to keep up with the anime - just think of all the *thousands* (unfortunately not all with Zack-voice) of Drama CDs that are out there...
LOL, yike, for a second there I thought Amazon had the actual show and I was like OMIGOD SQUEE! :)
Seriously? I've been looking all over! (Sneaky Amazon.)
*snuggles wet cloth* Once we nab SuzuKen, we can test our Japanese skills on him. What else will he have to do while locked up, after all? Except try to avoid Genesis, of course...
I think the only place you could probably get the DVDs (if there are any) would be on Amazon.jp. They do ship to the States, you know. A bit expensive, but still...
Poor guy, has to listen to broken Japanese for hours. We could threaten him with butterflies, if he doesn't help us learn, though. ;)
You really think Genesis won't notice when we start sneaking in more food than usual? :)

The nice thing about those vids was the subtitles... :) On the other hand... it *is* illegal... *sigh*

(Of course we won't send him back. He seems easily distracted, we'll just keep him busy until we've got the cage built around him.) :)

Don't. You'll get it, don't worry. Just think, I'm 48 now, and I'm *still* struggling... :) So you've got a lot more time on me to learn. :)
But uploading right into the brain? Yeah, I like that idea.
Oh good, I was starting to doubt you for a moment there. Need help with the cage building? ;)
Edit: Did you know that Amazon.com sells japanese Drama CDs? Unfortunately without translations... but they're the original Drama CDs... ^___^
