A Triumph, A Crisis, And A Seiyuu Behaving Naughtily

Hello, all. Thanks to the power of yaoi anime and caffeine, Amarissia has survived yet another Christmas unscathed. Amarissia is currently too scatterbrained for conversation or email, or really anything but typing and YouTube background noise, but I thought I'd pop in and update you on a few things.

1. I finished writing Not Wrath of Gods, so there's a nice weight off. Whether it ends well, whether it might be too rushed, I dunno, I don't really have the proper perspective to judge these things. But I'm pretty happy with it, especially the fact that after like 700 pages, the evil thing is done. On Christmas Eve, no less! I finished something else on Christmas once, one of the Decorums, though I don't remember which one.

2. Another reason I can't talk too much just now is that, as you probably know, I depend a great deal on the Choir to speak when I do, and they're very quiet today. Apparently, something went down at the big day-long ShinRa holiday party, and though I don't know exactly what yet, I have been observing some odd behavior. Genesis has tried several times to explain the situation to me, only to be thwarted by his own laughter and Angeal dragging him away. Zack has locked himself in his room and refuses to come out, which is not so odd, but it's been a rather long time. And usually he lets Angeal in, or Angeal can talk him out. This time, Zacky will occasionally come out for hugs, but then gets all stammer-y and rushes back in. My impression is that he's trying to avoid Angeal, but since it's his instinct to run to Angeal whenever anything's wrong...it's confusing for him. For all of us, actually.

Sephy-Pants, meanwhile, the only person I know who's more of a social idiot than myself, has been randomly strolling up to me and starting frankly bizarre conversations in what I think is an attempt to distract me from the Zangeal crisis. Stuff like, should he issue some sort of press release about how to pronounce the name of his sword correctly, and do I think he should study gourmet cooking, and something about a possible vaccine against Jenova and DNA polymerase...something. My head hurts when he starts talking like that. It is rather cute that he's trying to make me leave Zack alone, but if I don't get Zack out here, I can't help, you know?

So far, only Cloud has been allowed into Zack's room, and while usually Cloud will cheerfully tell me anything, this time all I'm getting is that "Zack is very jumpy and he says he's never gonna drink again ever ever look Patrick is trying to fly!" Adorable but not terribly helpful. And Angeal has been busy talking softly to Zack, Zack's door, Sephiroth, Genesis (well, more like yelling), and someone on the phone that I think was from some Midgar tabloid. I'll update you all once I can pull them together for a proper dialogue and get to the bottom of this. I will leave you all with a video of Zack's seiyuu shaking his butt, maybe that will anger him enough to come out.

O-oh no. My mind went to awful places, so I already feel really sorry for whatever Zack pulled off while he was drunk. Uh... here's some more of that fudge that was leftover from the holidays, if he wants some. Cloud can share it with him or something.

And maybe Sephiroth should hold a press conference. The way Tyler pronounces "masamune" is painful. Or, as Pocket Axel likes to say, it's like getting raped up the ass without lube. Twice.

And yay! Congratulations on finishing Wrath! Because you won't have to worry about it anymore (even if you feel the same way I do when you finish something, which is a mix of "It's done! Yes!" and "It's done! ...What am I going to do now? *sigh*") and it'll be available for people to finish reading it. People such as myself. *rubs hands in anticipation*

I'm suddenly very curious about how Pocket Axel spends his weekends.

That's exactly how I react when I finish a story. Not so much shorts, but the multi-chapters? Gaia yes. It's like...no more? I have to do it all over again and re-explain everything and think up new names and stuff? GAH. And if a story was especially special, forget it. I vaguely remember, just after I finished Madness, pacing in a circle in my bedroom for, like, an hour.

As long as I know someone's enjoying sweets, it's all good. Just... like... make sure that Zack actually gets some of it too.

And with Tyler, somehow he adds a "mew" in there, and he puts the accents in the wrong places. So I stare at him in disbelief. One time he pronounced "Gigas" wrong, so now we all want to make group tee-shirts that say "Go Go Gagdet Giggis (spelled the way he said it)!" And... oh god. The spells. The way he mispronounces the spells. Forget it. Most of the time now I just raise my eyebrow at him, Audrey, and Jason because they make so many errors... just... no.

I freak out the most about multi-chapters, both after they're posted and while I'm writing them because I don't start posting until they're finished (which is why none of my KH multis are posted yet, as I've been working on them since... last July) and the planning... oh god, the planning. And hell, I agonize so much while I'm writing one-shots that they can take me a few months to finish too. And then I pace, I back away from the computer for a day or two, I come back to a couple of reviews, and I frown and fist-bump the air at the same time because while I wonder why I worked so hard to gain so little recognition, I actually prefer the anonymity because it means less migraines from refraining from telling some people that they're idiots. 'S why Mimi, Casey, and I started the safe sex comm after someone thought Sephiroth giving Riku HIV was hilarious and that you only use condoms when you have an STD. *headdesks repeatedly*

...Though, damn. This breaks up the SZC, doesn't it? Damn it! They're one of my fandom OT3s! (The others being any two of the boys with Aerith. Het doesn't scare me at all. :P )

Congrats on finishing Not Wrath! I can completely understand you getting fatigued on it; it sure is long. I tend to write shorter stories and one-shots for this very reason; long stories are so draining. :(

Angeal: *ignores, busy talking to Zack through the new door*
Sephy: *frown* "As I promised Zack, I will not reveal exactly what happened at the party. But regardless of this event, I must insist that my joint custody agreement with Angeal remains valid. I do not give up my playthings."
Angeal: *from door* "Seph, this is not the time to discuss this."
Cloud: *sits down, swings feet* "Zack hangs out with me and Seph every night, then he goes and sleeps with Angeal. Genesis says they're not really sleeping. What does he mean?"
Genesis: *chained to wall* "Heh heh heh heh..." *is Firaga'd*
Sephy: *replaces door again*
Angeal: "Puppy, ease up on the fire, okay?"

*accepts* It's okay! I enjoy fire. Flambe away, Zack! *gets out stick and shoves a couple marshmallows onto it* Thanks for the Restore, though. Without one, being lit on fire is only fun the first time, since there are no second or third times after that.

I'm betting it's what happened. After all, how long have they had this whole Will They or Won't They/Obvious UST thing going on for? Too long, that's what I say.

(I actually find Zangeal to be an incredibly creepy dynamic a lot of the time, what with the amount of power Angeal has over Zack and the fact that Zack's a teenager who, in most first-world countries, would not legally be able to consent...but hey, it's fantasy. That takes a good 70% of the creepiness of Angeal apparently being an ephebophile away! The other 30% becomes hot instead.)

Oh, hey, I forgot to give out presents, didn't I? Here, Seph, have a sword-polishing kit, and a *cough* sword "polishing" kit.

Genesis, have these--*shoves Boku no Pico and Pico to Chico at him*--enjoy the pedo!

Speaking of pedo--hey, Cloud, have this stuffed animal! He's huge, but I've never felt one as soft and squishy as him. My friend calls him Chastity Panda. Sit him in your lap and no one *discreet sideways glance at Genesis* will be able to get anywhere near your no-no place--to much panda in the way.

Angeal, please enjoy this stack of doujinshi. Yes, it's all of Zack, and yes, he has puppy ears and a tail in each one. No, Zack will never escape the nickname.

Zack, please accept this DVD. No, I'm not telling you what's on it. You'll have to watch and find out.

I did try asking Ari (she and Cloud have been occupied playing with Patrick lately), but apparently, at the time of the incident she and a few other children were flushing small explosives down the toilet of the president's bathroom. Which reminds me, if anyone asks you about fire and water damage on the thirtieth floor, you know nothing, and I definitely had nothing to do with it.

I'll see if I can jog her little pyro memory with fudge...now where is Ari? Oh, with Genesis...who is in the next room...watching Boku No Pico.

Woo on finishing Not Wrath! Except I really don't know how you can wrap it up in one chapter. I figured Angeal would be in a psych unit for months.

Drama caused by the company party. Poor Zack. He's not the first one to find his repressed lust set free by a little alcohol. And I can't really imagine Angeal minding.

Aw, thank you. I'll keep writing Zangeal, though! The Madness sequel will sort of be all over the place, but they'll be there, and together. (I will find excuses for smut, I always do.) You should read other people's Zangeal too, lilyuzumaki's and sanu-chan's and staci's especially, and OMIGOD Marchwarden and Ardwynna!

LOL! Zack´s seiyuu is - I think - influenced by Zack himself. Somehow. I watched and I saw Zack´s fine ass. And I could imagine Angeal staring transfixedly at it.

From what I've seen of Suzuken, he acts a lot like Zack. And when he laughs, it IS Zack. It's very confusing for Angeal. I think he feels almost like he's cheating on Zack by staring. :)

Well, SZC will live on in the Decorums...probably not elsewhere, though, for me, I'm too much a Zangeal girl now.

Cloud: "Patrick is still too little to ride. I have to wait till he gets big, but he might not get big at all. Like my kitty. Silverstream will always be a kitty. I think he's magic."

(More likely his aging was slowed by mako or something. When you receive animals from Turks, it's best not to ask where they came from.)
