YouTube is a depressing place now, with most of my old favorite FF vids gone, gone, gone. I didn't really get into YouTube at all until I got into the FFVII fandom, and that was around when Advent Children came out on DVD...or a while after...so really, it hasn't been that long, at least not compared to how long YouTube's been popular. Anyway, you can still find some amusing stuff, so let's see what I can dig up.

First up is one I mainly enjoy as background noise, as Amarissia is still a big newb when it comes to Japanese. This is an interview with our dear Zacky's seiyuu Kennichi Suzumura, and aside from a few words here and there I haven't the faintest what he's saying. Except that he's talking about Ouran. But it's nice, because Zack-voice is soothing, even though Choir!Zack invariably has a fit when I play it and drowns some of it out.

Next up, this has nothing to do with anything. ANYTHING. It's just funny. My brother-in-law showed me this, and once I finished wetting my pants he explained that it's the voice of some guy on what are apparently really good drugs, sitting in a closet, while his friends were recording his rambling monologue. If you can't be above the influence, be amusing, that's what I say. Also, lighthouses rule.

Okay, this is exciting! This is an Advent Children parody I never got to recommend because it disappeared, but apparently it's been there all the time, thanks to another user. WHEE! Behold Cloud's angst, Yazoo's increased gayness and Rufus as Darth Vader.

And one of the rare survivors of my old favorites, a poignant musical tribute to Sephiroth/Cloud. Which was my OTP back before the madness of Zangeal struck. Enjoy!

Dude, I thought I was gonna die when I watched that stupid lizard (OMFG, SO FUNNY) , but that FFVII:AC thing MADE ME DIE!

Oh, SuzuKen has such a wonderful voice. *_* Even when he's just talking. And since I can't help it, here's a kind of summary of what he's saying in that interview:

He actually spends at least half the interview talking about video games... XD He says that a lot of fans ask him, "Ne, what kind of games do you play? These are the kinds I play... have you played them too?" and he claims that he usually doesn't play the kind of games most people do, it seems. His favorite kind are RPGs. (And I read in a separate interview that he did indeed play through Crisis Core and enjoyed it quite a bit, but here he says he generally doesn't play the games he does voice work for because it's embarrassing.) He also does online shooting games. He owns a PSP, a PS3, a DS and even plays some games on his cell phone. He says he does not have a Wii, but he's not about to ask for one, and kindly asks that the listeners not buy him one because it's just too expensive a gift. XD

Wee, thank you for the summary! I thought I kept hearing him say "game", but I don't generally trust my translating skills. Hee, so he played CC? Must be weird to play a character with your own voice. I've got to ask for mor details once I capture him in my seiyuu net....uh, I mean, if I ever meet him. Yeah.
