Updates And Uplifts

Hmm, I seem to have run out of lackeys to announce updates for me. :) I don't trust Ryu-chan to play with the laptop (he might heave it at Genesis, Kumagoro-style), and Near doesn't really show any interest in my literary efforts. I suppose I could draft a new Choir member from beyond one of the portals, but Sephy's still being a jerk about letting me open them. He's recently been reenforcing the Ouran High School Host Club portal, 'cause Genesis has made so much progress in keeping his hands off the jailbait, and Ouran would completely undo all that. Seriously, hot underage tail everywhere. Or, as Genesis says, it's like a buffet of victims...er, potential conquests.

Okay, there's the update portion; now for the uplifting. A different kind of vid rec today. Now, I loathe Madonna. Loathe. To the point that I can't even explain why I hate her, I just do. But, my younger sister sent me a song of hers that, against my will, I've found quite cheering, so I'm offering it to amber_lovechild, on the chance it might cheer her up too. Don't watch the actual video, it's depressing, just listen. And if that doesn't work, I'll send GenGen with his new costumes for a tea party.

Oh, you spoil me rotten... you have no idea how happy it makes me to see that you've updated when I come back from work.

(The Mirage of Blaze portal? Oooh. I can't help but wonder if Naoe and Angeal would get along. Hm.)

I'm thinking Angeal and Naoe would not get along. Angeal...doesn't approve of his methods, let's say.

Aren't they cute? And haha, yeah. I actually have one fanart of Sephiroth and Angeal, which is this one. It doesn't seem like too many people do art of them together (or of Genesis and Sephiroth [can Genesis cook?]), but I've seen a decent amount of fanart of Genesis and Angeal together.

Ah, I see. XD Have you seen the Mirage of Blaze OVA? I suppose you have, since Naoe's actions are pretty questionable there.

I feel badly for both him and Takaya. They really don't have a pleasant relationship. But yeah, plushies can heal most of what ails you, hehe. I'd really like to know what happens in the 30+ novels that make up Mirage of Blaze, though. I don't know if you know this, but the anime is based on the novels which sadly haven't been translated into English. Hopefully they got a happy ending there, at least.

Sadly, I don't know the sources for them. 4chan.org's cute/male board has Final Fantasy threads pretty often, so people post a lot of awesome fanart there and that's where I've saved them from.

I wouldn't mind one bit uploading more of what I've got (more people to squee with!), but perhaps I should do it elsewhere so I'm not spamming Amarissia's journal?

I burst out laughing at the ´Sephy is reinforcing the portal´ part, I immediately saw it the same way when LOTR guys reinforced the door in Moria. only with Sephiroth it would be ten times stronger, I guess, LOL!

Oh! Have the Choir seen LOTR movies? I know they´d probably laugh at Anduril, but still, lots of fighting, beautiful elves, tiny hobbits...

As for the fanart, it´s awesome! Lol, Angeal´s hand? It just says ´mine´. Sephy´s got a beautiful peaceful expression and Gen is probably going to have ´dead´ arms, when he wakes.

They've seen the LOTR movies, yes, and the cast commentaries, and me sitting there in a sobbing mess because LOTR does that to me. Ah, I remember when I first saw The Two Towers. I was so moved I couldn't speak four hours, then I was up crying all night. I've been a raging LOTR fan since I was old enough to watch the old cartoons of it, and I've read the books at least once a year since I was nine.

They like the movies. Zack and Seph like the fighting, Angeal and I ooh and ahh at the trees, Cloud loves the hobbits, and Genesis drools over the elves. :)

Aww, the song actually is pretty uplifting *snuggles* I stopped watching the video when I realized what sort of thing it would be about because yes, that would be depressing.

Kaoru is one of the fictional lovelies that lives in my head/under my bed/in the space around actual reality (in some loose formation of a non-Choir I guess. Characters that I 'talk' to on a regular basis in the fashion of the Choir I mean. He's one of them.) Sooooo...you know Genesis, I might dust off the twins for you (If I don't hear from these people ever I'm just taking back the fictional characters from them *snatches Hikaru who had once upon a time been claimed by a friend*), but no Hunny I'm afraid, that would be bad for you and your shota issues. The twins are...almost adults and mischievous enough that they'd probably pose a challenge for you. And Ciel would have to stay away, though I think Sebastian would provide a challenge, even for you Gen, especially if you tried to do things to Ciel against his will. Things in his past make him very sensitive of that. (you finished this series right? Cause even with the polite wording, I probably spoiled that if you didn't...)

What happened was sort of not as obvious in the anime so if you completely finish and still are like...what on earth could she mean? I will tell you and it will all click completely into place.

Poor Genesis, i'm sure that must be hard for him, but he has some hot FFVII bishies with him, he should be fine!

Cloud is nearly impossible to bother, since he immediately represses anything unpleasant. Also, he just giggles and reacts with disbelief when I point out his voice elsewhere. After all the Kyou Kara Maou we've watched, he still doesn't quite believe me that he shares a voice with the main character.

If you've gone through the whole Choir then you go back to the top of the list and start over with Seph again. Makes sense to me. Nooooo, no more of the stabbings! Ouch!
