This is Angeal Hewley, SOLDIER 1st Class. Amarissia is rather sleepy at the moment and doesn't trust herself to write a coherent post, so she's asked me to announce the latest update.

Enjoy. I don't think I'll be able to enjoy it, myself. I appreciate Amarissia writing Zack and myself together, but it's difficult for me to read about him going through anything upsetting, and as you know, that's sort of Amarissia's specialty. *sigh* My poor Puppy.

'GEAL!! *GLOMPS HEWLEY* HIYA! Man, it feels like forever since I saw you! *looks at Angeal sneakily* Aw, YOUR puppy was it? Getting a bit possessive there 'Gealy?

Oh, and also, can you send a message to Gen for me? And Zack?

To Gen: Hun, how are you? Still chasing after L, are you? I know you can get him you walking-sex god you! And you had to cry during 14th chapter of Not Wrath of Gods, you poor thing. *coos at Gen* I do hope your part in the story comes out well, kay honey? And do give a smack on the tush to L and Light for me? Or will you just end up having a threesome again? Mm, ciao!

To Zack: I'm amazed with all the abuse you're taking, you're still this hyper. *pokes at Zack* Hey, my hands not chopped off! *feels dark aura behind me* Fine, fine, I won't touch your pup 'Geal, calm down! Overprotective Angeal aside, how are you? Well, as fine as you can be with amarissia molesting the butt out of you *giggles* literally by what seems you imagination, and an invisible, untouchable incubus. At least you get to get this over with quickly, if amarissia decides to chug out these chapters like mice produce babies.

It's amazing how often you update! A lot different from Madness of Angels, huh? At least this time I decided to read it from the start! Only, I'm a horrible reviewer on fanfiction. I know, I know, terrible excuse but I seriously am. *makes face* It's like, whenever I review, the 'Not Responding' sign pops up, my extremely long or short review is lost, and I become discouraged from reviewing ever again. *sighs* So I'm going to tell you how I feel about Not Wrath of Gods on this comment! Livejournal is much easier to comment for some reason!

NWG review: It's amazing. The character depth, the manipulation, the emotions, the suspense, the whole who's the one teaching Zack about sex, Gen's perverted behavior, and the entire relationship with Lazard, Sephiroth, and Genesis leaves me drooling, crying, aw-ing, sympathetic, laughing, and leaving on the edge. In short, I'm acting like some pregnant woman with emotional problems. And I'm just dieing to know what happens next, chewing on my bed sheets, wondering in the middle of the night if Seph is going to choose Gen or Lazie, or if there's going to be some kinky threesome after tear-jerking obstacles get in the way. Or if there's some Lifestream/mako interference in Zack that is trying to tell him to stop being in denial and just wind up with Angeal already!

And the corpses! What name was on the corpses?! What happened to Zack? Why did Gen cry? This thing is just making me bounce like Zack on a sugar-high! And it's more than wonderful.
And since I just read ch 15, I just wanna bash those two interviewing Zack. And I can imagine Zack acting like a perpetulant puppy, refusing to talk to him *snickers* Go Angeal! Get back your jail-bait puppy! *blows raspberry at the people-whose-names-I-can't-recall interviewing Zack* Take that! *mmutters* Stupid jealous peers, stupid fucking lawyers! Blegh! XC And the 15th chapter is making me bounce in anxious excitement! Can't wait until ch 16!

Amarissia: *squirms happily, does the yay-I-got-a-gorgeous-review dance* "Thank you! Ooh, I'm so happy the story is provoking such a reaction. Either that or your hormones are going nuts. Are you having any other symptoms?"

Angeal: *smiles, pats head* "Very nice to see you too." *looks a bit embarrassed* "Well, yes, Zack is my Puppy. Whether platonically or otherwise. "

Genesis: *tosses hair, soaks up comfort* "Well, you know, I'm very sensitive. Otherwise I wouldn't be such an artist, or the kind and compassionate person I am. Yes, I am still pursuing my genius spikyhaired pet as well as his bit of hot stuff. They like to play hard to get, but they won't be able to resist much longer."

Zack: "Hi." *pout* "It's not easy to be cheery with all the evil stuff Amarissia drags me into, but I have Angeal to make me happy. Uh, and Seph and Cloud, of course."

Uh-huh. *smirk*

Ugh, no. I've been ecstatic these past few days (a COMPLETE 180 from my absolutely HORRIBLE last week) because of the mass updation of some of my favorite fanfics lately that I've been moody. So now, I'm just bouncy. *bounces* But you deserve a good, wonderful review! Not Wrath of Gods is just leaving me HANGING! It's like, I'm a huge catch on a fish hook, on the last of my strength, wondering if I'll be free or become canned tuna. The suspense, THE SUSPENSE! And I absolutely adore you for the NWoG's soundtrack. I just squeaked when I noticed all the songs! *bounces some more*

And Ch 16 is making me sniffle...*sniffles* Poor Zackie. And Seph. And Lazard! And Angeal and Genesis! It just makes me wanna do horrible things to the Legal guys, ya know?! Stupid Legal guys! Stupid, evil, disgusting, filthy, scum of the earth Legal guys and jealous peers! *starts 20 page rant*

To Gen: *changes mood* Oh, Gen, you poor, poor thing! You're such kind, considerate, wonderful person! *gives you L and Light plushie* Sadly, my L-muse is in a sulking-mood. I've been reading to him that threesome sex scene with you, Light, and him and he's been inching away from the laptop every single time I go unto amarissia's livejournal account. But he had that interested look in his eyes lately *wink* If you can make my genius detective interested, you should have no problem with your pet. And if L comes, so does Light. I just love the package deal.

To Zack: I think I understand hun, reading ch 16. But it's absolutely lovely you make Angeal happy..... ... ...And, uh, oh yeah, Seph and Cloud-babe. *shakes head, winks, and smiles knowingly* Whatever you say hun. LOL, no love for the lawyers right now, none at all. The next few chappies might garner some sympathy for them, but maybe not. Anyone who gets between Angeal and Zack is the enemy. Poor Puppy. And Choir!Angeal always hovers around him like crazy when I'm bringing the angst. I haven't seen him refuse to let go of Zacky like this since 'Madness'.

Genesis: *does naughty things with L and Light plushies* "You encourage me, thank you. Sigh, so few people truly appreciate me."

Sephy: *eyeroll* "Please don't encourage him."

Zack: *edges away from lollipop in horror*

Oh, yay. <3 Usually I don't read WIPs because I'm not a very patient person, but since I already know you're an amazing writer and you've been updating pretty much every night (you overachiever you) I decided I'd just read the first chapter, to see what it was like, and then read the rest of it when it was completed. Naturally, I read all fifteen chapters in about thirty minutes. My self control is less than or equal to zero, especially when I am presented with such good fic.

I actually can't hate the lawyers, since it is their job and the circumstances are pretty suspicious, but poor Zack! D: I feel so guilty for enjoying his torment. I can't wait to see what's at the core of his nighttime problems. I have been going through theories and discarding them like mad. You're very good at building up a mystery.

And Seph! His issues are so well done in this! I like how you took a different take on him here than you did in Madness--instead of being unable to make physical contact, he's perfectly willing to make physical contact but has difficulty understanding and coming to terms with his own emotional reactions, both of which I think are very plausible reactions to his twisted upbringing.

I will admit, during any passage that mentioned Seph in the future choosing between Gen and Lazard, to shouting "have a threesome!" at the screen. (My brother, who was passing my room at that time, seemed pretty disturbed by this. I'm going to giggle strangely every time he gives me a weird look for the next few days.) Of course, given their personalities, I think Lazard would sneakily arrange to have Genesis sent on a three-month-long mission out somewhere, and then Genesis would assassinate him. Or actually, Genesis would assassinate him first. Either way, no yummy threesomes for us, unless Angeal decides Genesis can be allowed to be with Zack, but only with...supervision. *cough* Obviously, you can see what kind of brain I have.

I am super-curious about what that symbol on the bodies means and what kind of reaction it's going to prompt from Seph once he gets over his shock. Again, you've done a great job building up the atmosphere of this fic, as well as adding depth to the characters and portraying them realistically. (Or, in more fangirlish terms: EEE AMARISSIA, YOU MADE MY DAY!!!!)

Ooh, thank you! I'm glad you're liking it enough to read it even though it's a WIP. Don't worry, I don't start posting a story till I'm way ahead in the writing, just in case any blocks come up. I hate when I read a story and get into it, only to find it's been left unfinished.

LOL at your brother...normally I just freak out my readers, now I'm scaring their family members! YAYZ!

And ha, you're perhaps the one person who doesn't actively wish Kaplan dead. Actually, though, you've got it more right...we'll learn more about his motives and the reason he's being such a jerk soon...

Answers soon too, and more questions, of course! (One day I will write a Zangeal multi-chapter that doesn't involve a mystery and dead bodies...maybe.) :)
