1. Can you cook?
Minimally, but I can read a cookbook so I can learn.

2. What was your dream growing up?
To be a published author and to travel in style.

3. What talent do you wish you had?
Self discipline and Chuck Yaeger's eyesight.

4. Favourite place?
Usually where I am at the time. Exception being when it's colder than -15 C then I wanna be just about anywhere else.

5. Favourite vegetable?
I'll eat just about any veggie that's set in front of me. Cooked, raw, or marinated they are better than hamburger.

6. What was the last book you read?
'A Companion to Wolves' by Sarah Monette (about my tenth read-through). Before that, 'The Shadow Queen' by Anne Bishop. Or maybe I should say the manga 'Junjo Romantica' by Nakamura Shungiku even though I read it online.

7. What zodiac sign are you ?
I'm a Libra and also born in the Year of the Snake. It takes me a whole astrological cycle to make up my mind on anything.

8. Any Tattoos and/or Piercings?
Tattoo of a Japanese wind dragon on my ankle and ear piercings (3 in one and 2 in the other)

Indecisiveness... I think.

Watching my kids thumbwrestle. (Sports? we don't need no stinkin' sports!)

Personally optimistic but much more realistic when looking at the larger picture.

Um, pick up the emergency phone and call out. Then get out the deck of card I just happen to carry in my purse (don't ask) and wait for rescue. Failing that, organize our escape through the emergency hatch in the roof... I'd even supply the theme music.

I've developed wet macular degeneration about 40 years too early. I'm not taking it well.

I like my kids more now that they're mouthy, opinionated, sarcastic teen-agers than I ever did when they were cute, cuddly and helpless little babies.

2 kids and a dog.

Personally, people who treat me like I'm stupid. For my kids, the compressed curriculum that doesn't actually schedule in time to teach them how to add or spell. Globally, the idea that companies have to make huge profits each quarter or else they're failures. What's wrong with small but reliable returns.

Yes. No-one else will do it for me, so I either cook or starve and I ain't gonna starve. LOL I enjoy cooking actually and I think I'm pretty good. Can't bake to save myself tho'.

I wanted to be a music teacher, but I don't like kids. XD

I really wish I could draw. Some of the stuff in my head...I'd like to be able to draw it instead of writing it.

Yeah, it's 'bloemkool' in Dutch, which literally translates (like the German word) into 'flower cabbage'. I'm sorry to say I know little German. I can read most of it and my listening isn't so bad, but my vocabulary is too limited to speak or write anything, let alone properly. It's funny really, seeing as Dutch and German are quite alike.
