This week in wishful-Zangeal-thinking, our musical selections come courtesy of ladygunblade, who recommended them to me!

And in zaniness, I just finished what I'm pretty sure is season one of Ouran High School Host Club. Guess what the nice DVD people included with it? Bloopers! In English, yes, but this anime actually has a decent English dub cast, which is...bizarrely rare.

And to finish on a silly (Death) Note, tell me Near doesn't make a weirdly good Stewie from Family Guy.

Ooh! Shiny AMV talent!

Anytime you get Luci Christian (Hunny) in a booth, she's probably going to make an offhand yaoi joke. I love that lady. I should find the commentary where she and Chris Patton insinuate that Fakir and Mytho in Princess Tutu are totally banging each other (or, more like, Fakir is banging Mytho).

It's kind of interesting when you think about it, because Vic Mignogna (Tamaki) is vaguely homophobic. I would never have expected him to agree to do a voice in Ouran. Though, he is very talented and I love him dearly for the life he gives his characters.

ADV and FUNimation have awesome VAs, I love them all and they all do amazing work bringing anime to an American audience. If you liked the English cast for Ouran, you'd probably enjoy DNAngel in English too, since it's pretty much the same group of people.

Actually, I watched Ouran in Japanese; the bloopers were only available in English. Dubbed anime freaks me out, though I really was surprised how inoffensive the Ouran dubbers were. Still, I can't see myself ever choosing to watch an anime in English. I can't even do it with Advent Children anymore. :)

Homophobic? A homophobe agreed to do a voice in Ouran? That's...bizarre. And...progress, maybe? *is puzzled* Normally I would feel obligated to smite the guy, but a good English dubber is so damn rare...

That reminds me...my favorite Ouran moment so far has to be the fourth-wall-smashing one where little Kirimi points at the club and yells things like "Debauchery! Twincest!" I love that kid. :)

Who's the band in the first one? I've never heard that cover of 'Running Up That Hill' before. I used to be a big Kate Bush fan and I never thought that anybody would be able to do justice to her (rather odd) style. But those guys were good. It was haunting and layered... and it suited the video (which made me teary-eyed).

I may have to look up that Ouren High School Host Club. It looks like it could be funny. BTW: the voice for one of them (tall, blonde) isn't that the same guy who did Edward Elrich in FMA?

Loved the Zangeal video--it's a good thing for my productivity that YouTube is blocked at work, otherwise I'd be cruising the intertubes for FFVII videos all darn day.

I was doing my March Madness brackets, and every time I saw Gonzaga listed I read it as Gongaga...does Zack know his hometown is ranked number 10 in the nation in basketball? :D

Cloud: *crawls off of Sephy's lap, peers through portal* "Hi, Silverin! I was playing on the roof of ShinRa headquarters last night, and guess what Ryu-chan did? He jumped off the electrical tower, and it was really high up, but he landed on me, so it was okay." *giggles*
Me: "Things are going well with Cloud's new buddy, even though their friendship requires Sephy to follow them and deal with the damage they cause. ZACK! Wake up!"
Zack: "You don't write this time of day. If you're gonna be doing naughty things with me later, I need to rest first, you..." *grumbles unpleasantries*

*Oohs at the AMVs* I'm rising to know who made the second AMV, it was well made and I loved the song choices.
The best line in that thing?: "What do you want Angeal?" World domination." "That's not funny man!".

I just break down laughing whenever I hear that part! And I can actually imagine Angeal trying to take over the world... But for a good reason of course! *snickers*

I started laughing when I finished the Ouran bloopers! OMG how I love Tamaki's voice! And Haruhi's voice actor is wonderful though I started to wonder why she kept on saying she needed to learn how to read.

*snickering again* Aaaw man Near, your reputation was just shot down and beaten on with that AMV! Lol, Seph you seriously need to let them open the KKM portal, I wanna tell Yuri to hurry up and just goddamn lock Yuri and Wolfram in a lovehotel for a week or two to show YES you ARE gay for your fiance, YES you are an idiot sometimes Yuri, and just have the wedding already and skip away to your steamy honeymoon with Wolfram! Sheesh, you are so much trouble!

I would happily assist in any plan to open Yuuri's eyes to what he's missing. Yeah, yeah, he likes girls, he's "straight"...whatever. He's an anime character, which means he must at least have homosexual leanings, and if Wolfram can't bring them out, no one can. We do need to lock those two up until they see reason. Now can we open the KKM portal, Sephy?

Sephy: "No."

He's concerned I'll steal Yuuri and Wolfram and cause diplomatic trouble with Shin Makoku. Which I will. Also, I think Gunter unnerves him. :)

Aaaw, Seph, it's ok that you're concerned that Amarissia will steal Yuuri and Wolfram, and cause many internal and external problems within Shin Makoku playing around with them, but it's no reason to lock her out!

Oooooh, gotta love the first one! I mean it's everyone dancing to the Mickey Song! Hi, nice to meet you new one! I am another newbie so please treat me kindly! And don't worry, I'm quite sure Seph doesn't mind hugs. But don't take Cloud and Zack for too long, then he gets cranky! Lol ^^ The Choir is an awful lot of fun, but if you introduce any cute characters, as in uke cute, Genesis will try multiple times to molest him. *indicates L from Death Note* L had to start locking the portal hole and stay nicely locked in a bathroom for a while now. Poor L.

Oh, and Cloud and Ryuichi from Gravitation, the anime/manga with the singing pink haired kid and his blond, cold , writer lover- he's male of course-, causes mayhem, adorable mayhem though!, and if buildings from Midgar seem to magically fall apart, it's ok, Cloud and Ryuichi were playing a game. Lotsa fun with this Choir, though they don't get singing done, *snickers*
