EDIT: With the help of white_jenna, problem resolved. Well, one problem resolved, anyway. Just so you guys know, I'm around, but if you don't see me too much for a little while it's because I'm in the process of reformatting a 230,000 word book. For the eighth time. Don't pity me, it's my own idiocy's fault. And I don't mean Zack this time.

Zack: "Hey!"

Zack: "What's to spoil? Angeal's all angsty, again, Genesis is after my goodies, again, and everyone is trying to grope me. Can I please be tiny and pixellated again?"

Thank you, I've heard that one's good...alas, literary agents seem to be very attached to MS Word specifically. *kicks MS Word* You know, I wouldn't even be bothered by this, if the supposedly sixty-day trial had actually lasted more than two days!

You can open word documents in it, and save them as word docs as well.

Hmm, hard to say. I'm about to start chapter...11, I think? I want to be done with at least 15 before I start posting, but it also depends on how confident I am about how the fic will progress. It will be sooner than I expected, though, I had first thought it would be months from now.

If you already have a way to install at least the trial of word 2007, I believe I still have a code that I will never use since I am now on a mac. So I have the license thing...a legit one, since I paid for the copy of Word, and if I can find the box I will totally get it for ya!
