For those of you interested (I know at least one person is!), I thought I'd make available to you all the music that I listened to (and that in my opinion you should listen to) while the world of Madness took shape in my head. This isn't all of it, but it's a good representation of what the story sounds like, if that makes sense. Anyway.

Gaia, that took forever. Now, I'm intrigued to see reactions. What you expected? Surprised? "What planet are you from, woman?" "What is this Madness you ramble about?" "Who are you and why am I on your LiveJournal?" Well, I can answer that middle one, at least...

The Madness of Angels, alas now finished, is my baby, likely to be my magnum opus. If you have tissues and can handle buttloads of angst and Zangeal, you can find it here.

*refuses to believe that anyone in the universe (or at least the crisis core yaoi ficdom ;D) doesn't know what Madness is* :P You could do a lot worse for a magnum opus :) (even though I am still being a wimp and putting off reading the last two chapters 'cause I know I will cry for hours :P *looks indignantly at other inhabitants of hotel room 'what? I'm not crying...'* *shifty eyes* ;D)

And the playlist is perfect. A few on there I don't know, shall have to listen as soon as I'm back in my own country with my proper laptop, lol. The ones I know though, completely awesome. If I'm ever masochistic enough to reread your masterpiece (:P), I shall have to do it with these in mind :)

Oh, I definitely will! I'm really looking forward to it (glad there is happiness, though the happy bits will almost certainly make me cry ten times more than the sad bits :P). I'm just living on a couch in a hotel room at the moment, so can't read fic that causes me to cry all over my computer :P Plan to read it when I get home and have a bedroom again XD

Lol, Genesis feels playful again? Good. Last time when he was visiting he brought naughty gingerbread figures. AND he was nibbling on the naughty bits. Zack was fascinated. And Cloud managed to save only the Sephy figure.

...have Genesis go to the Penny Arcade web site and search their news items and forums for "dickerdoodles." Then lock up your baking supples. Heck, you can google the term for lulz, though I haven't fully tested it since I'm at work and I amuse IT enough with my usual antics as it is.

You know, I was also kinda supprised you didn't have 'Oh My God (I Can't Believe It)' by Kaiser Chiefs on the ST. It's what I play every time I have to make smexy scenes. Works wonders. Although I think I'm going to start using 'Pet' by A Perfect Circle. I've listened to their stuff before, but I hadn't heard this. REALLY like it.

Wow, it's been like forever and a day since I last talked to you! (Who knew it would take that long for me to respond to a comment. :O) I'm really sorry especially since I was the one who requested the music. *cries on your shoulder*

Anyway, I re-read the chapters while listening to your music selection and it went so perfectly; some in odder ways than others but I digress! heh Hmm, my favorite had to be Carnival of Rust. There's just something about the lead singer's slighty accented voice that makes me think of smokey bars and Zack-attack's tragic life. ;_;

Oh! The other day I was listening to a friend's One Republic cd and came across a song that I thought would have been oddly fitting for Zack and Angeal. It's called "Come Home"... I've been trying to find a CC amv for it ever since but have FAILed thus far... I'm about to make me own. lol

I loved The Madness of Angels! I'm not sure I ever reviewed or sent you a private message, but I'm Sinfully Down on fanfiction.net.

I started reading The Madness of Angels when it was just a baby, and I fell in love with it right away. More importantly, I fell in love with your portrayal of Sephiroth.

I have to say that this is one of the only fanfictions to ever make me cry. It was, of course, when Angeal died. Surprisingly though, it wasn't when I should've cried.

I broke down during that last paragraph when Cloud held Zack. So sad!

It was outstandingly beautiful.

Uberly old post, but I had to comment at say this music is so great for the story ;-;
Really, I didn't think it could get any more depressing but it did with a soundtrack x] I had it on my iPod and I almost cried while I was on the bus thinking about Madness that's how good it is. (By the way it's good that you made me sad x])
I refuse to listen to Why until I get to the end of re-reading it though. Haha
