Post-Madness...Madness

I meant to post some sort of poetic ramble about how empty I feel now that my epic The Madness of Angels is all done and posted, and I do feel the loss of it, kind of like a not-terribly-useful-but-hey-it-was-there limb. But my head is too full for much post-angst...angst. I have a nice clean notebook all ready for the next multi-chapter (hey, anyone want to see Zack get molested by something invisible?) -

Zack: "What?!"

- and I will get to it. I really will. After I finish typing that new Decorum. And finish watching Kyo Kara Maoh. I'm telling you, not only have I lost my anime-phobia, I've found its equivalent of crack. And unlike Yami No Matsuei, Cloud's allowed to watch that one. Hee, check me out, I sound like a total otaku, huh? Is that the word? I think Aspies are predisposed to it, you just need to encourage us.

Zack: *whines*

Right, he doesn't like Kyo Kara Maoh, because yet again, Angeal's voice is being used by a stranger. To add to Zacky's frustration, this character just happens to be one of Sephy's many cousins. Think I'm kidding?

Yep. It's eerie. Sephy's not totally happy with it either, considering the many personality differences. It does, however, prove that Angeal and Sephy would make one hot kid together.

Genesis: "Hey! You promised we could watch Loveless again!"

Fine, you can watch while I type, if you promise to keep the perverted remarks to a minimum. Gaia help me for ever letting you see that in the first place.

Zack: "When I said make Genesis leer at someone else for a change, I didn't mean the twelve-year-old! I WANT TO BE TINY AND PIXELATED AGAIN! I'm sick of all this perversion!"

Please excuse him, he's still recovering.

Hee, there's a lot of it, too. Over a hundred episodes, I believe, I'm still on season one. Thank Gaia there's so much, because it is total crack. Addicting. Wait'll you see Sephy's cousin, he behaves very...un-Sephy-like. :)

And we need to find the source of all these Seph-cousins and tie a knot in it, seriously. You can't swing a cat without hitting a silver-haired bishie. My latest encounter with one was Ramirez in Skies of Arcadia Legends. So cute, and so very, very aggravating.

Excuse my List-induced ramblings. There is no point to this post.

--I'd like to point out that Dilandau in Vision of Escaflowne was the best blonde haired pretty boy anywhere precisely because he wasn't actually a boy.
--Creed's Yaoiness in Black Cat was a long running gag at Anything Goes.
--Epic win for the mention of Prince Siegfried (Mytho) in Princess Tutu. I love that show, and while Mytho isn't exactly a bad guy, he is bat-shit crazy in the second season.
-- Leon Oswald of Kaleido Star is probably the closest Seph look-a-like I've seen yet.
-- Eyes (Spiral) is my sister's favorite anime character. But I'd rather kill him, myself.
-- *Giggles at the part about Milliardo (Gundam Wing) being a designated whatever* OMG! He is!
-- Setzer's motives were comic relief in FFVI. After all, Celes beats him with a tricked coin toss. It's his KHII scenes that have me worried. :( *Misses the scarred womanizing pretty boy he was supposed to be*
-- Kuja (FFIX) will always be prettier than Seph. Sorry Seph.
-- Bonus points for mentioning Dist's alternative names (Tales of the Abyss, which is now an anime) but I'd like to point out that his hair is PINK. I have a whole post on his hair color.
-- I'm in love with Ramirez (Skies of Archadia) because he's such a tragic villian. You know, like Sephiroth. Plus, he's gay and nothing you say can convince me otherwise. :D

Finally, I'd like to ask why we didn't just stick Iason Mink (Ai no Kusabi) on the list? his hair's kinda golden blondish, but he's still quite evil at the end of the day-- controlling, conniving, and completely batshit crazy.

Oh, like Kuja didn't have an epic fail past either. :D Except, Kuja likes being the pretty one, so it's all right in the end.

But, at the same time, the similarities between Kefka and Sephiroth have been bugging me, yet we don't give Kefka a 'get out of jail unmolested pass'

There is one thing wrong though (and in the first bit!) While Spike (from Buffy) has bleached hair, Captain John Hart (and do we love him...) has not, even though he is played by the same actor. The other character he plays with white hair is Charlemagne Bolivar in Andromeda. Yes I like James Martsers, sue me :P

We had a long-ass conversation at Anything Goes (an anime club) once about how Vincent has the same voice actor as Wolverine in the new X-men series. We were not happy. :D

Life, I tell you. For a while, I was only watching Kyo Kara Maoh because of my Yuri Lowenthal (Yuri's voice actor) obsession. I need to go back to that series again... I haven't watched in so long. And if you don't love Greta, there's something wrong with you. Everyone loves the adorable Greta. :D (She's just as adorable as Marlene)

It's crack at the moment, but it gets pretty angsty with the brothers later on. Especially poor Conrad, who gets the short end of every stick. :p

Yay for Gunter, by the way. :D

Oh, in Kyo Kara Maoh, do you think Gwendel/Ken Murada would make such a weird pairing? For some reason, everytime I watched that, I would picture them together in my head and sigh in bliss. Seriously, the big, "Scary" Elemental demon with the nerd. *le squee* lol
