Another thank-you to all who recommended Gravitation. I've finished the anime, and I really, really like it. I still flinch a little too much to say I love it, but I'm getting there. And it had a bit of angst in there, excellent. You guys really know me. :) Next up - probably Loveless. This tail thing is really intriguing.

Genesis: "Did you say Loveless?"

Genesis: "You're going in my notebook."

I should explain. Genesis was recently off visiting my Kingdom Hearts and Death Note guru (Scripta, you are the greatest!), where he spent most of his time propositioning her good friend L. Genesis has since returned with complimentary chains, so I can fasten him to the wall whenever necessary. But to cheer him up, I've made him a fake Death Note. It was Sephy's idea.

Sephy: "As long as the book is harmless, it will allow Genesis to vent his anger without causing actual injury to anyone."
Zack: "And it's red."

Cloud, meanwhile, is off on a visit, and we have Scripta's smaller pal Near hanging out with us. He puts up with Zack's babbling admirably, but mostly he's just been playing with his puzzles and toys, and getting tense if I squeeze him for more than a moment. I can't help it. Sephy's still a bit unnerved by Near and has been observing him like he probably does when he's doing recon, though he has pronounced our guest to be "harmless". That's something. Genesis, at first, believed that we had bought him an albino as a gift and pronounced it a very thoughtful gesture, but once I explained and gave him his Death Note, he's been off glaring malevolently at everyone and scribbling names.

Genesis: "SAKUJO!"

Who was it this time, GenGen?

Genesis: "The toaster. That will teach it to burn my Pop Tarts."

I'm...sure it will. *sniffle* I'm off to ingest some vitamin C and do some more typing. *grumble* Can someone tell me why the last chapters of Madness are so finger-achingly long?

And while I'm asking, can someone tell me what the hell a Nittle Grasper is? It's like a cognate on crack, or something.

Excuse me. *sniffle*

Hmm, may look into Death Note at some point. Currently watching my nice shiny Hellsing boxset and remembering just how cool Alucard and Walter are. I try to ignore the complimentary high-voiced, big-breasted girl in a very short uniform, and focus on purveyors of general mayhem. And laughing at the Japanese portrayal of the UK.

How big is Genesis's notebook? You may need to replace it soon.

Does your Gen have a sweet tooth? My muses and I keep getting interrupted by a sword-wielding redhead demanding cookies, and we're not sure when he's coming from.

Heh, if that is my GenGen, sorry about that. I seem to have given him an addiction to junk food and sometimes I get distracted and forget to give him more.

I think you'll like Loveless, Amarissia! <3 I own all three of the DvDs and 4 of the Manga. Very interesting concept, sharing names, word spells, Sacrifices and Fighters, and losing your ears and tail if you have sex!

huh, I finally went about watching Gravitation, and while it was cute, I didn't really love it. Of course, I've watched far too many animes in my time, so I've gotten picky perhaps. I like ones where the plot isn't so rushed. ^-^;

I mentioned Loveless to you in my last message though! Like it said, it's got plenty enough angst for you...but you really CAN'T just watch the anime! That's the only bad thing. Anime = you really only know enough to annoy the people who've read the manga when you talk to them about it.

It's a sad way to make us all go broke for the series...but it's working on me because I'm possibly more addicted to THIS Loveless than Genesis is to...no wait, that's impossible.

Genesis would have loved the Renaissance. I could see him living in that time and owning an albino.

He'd be eccentric and rich, like Marius, only without the vampiric guilt...unless it's Madness' Genesis...then it would just be without the guilt...

Loveless would be worth getting over your fear of manga for...I adore the storyline and almost all of the characters...almost...

Though, Genesis, I do seriously doubt that your idea of 'good care' and Near's idea of 'good care' are the same...

LOL...your peanut gallery seems as energetic as ever.

The mention of Gravitation sure brings back nostalgic memories. Gravitation was the first B-love anime that I ever watched (I still have the box set I bought), it was the only B-love anime available here in the States (or at least where I live).

I even forced my sister to watch it with me! I still think that GRAVITATION is one of the funniest most parody-intelligent romantic comedies out there. Naturally, there has been many BL and yaoi animes that have been produced. Currently I'm hooked on JUNJOU ROMANTICA. Again, I highly recommend it! Please watch that one whenever you can. As for Gravitation, I like the way they make parodies out of most things. I also like the way it can move from a sappy scene to an absolute hilarious moment in seconds flat. Above all, I love KUMAGURO!

Please give KUMAGURO to Cloud as I'm sure he'll enjoy it. Plus, it will make feel safe at night. ^-~

LOL, I don't know if Cloud would appreciate Kumaguro. While we were watching, he didn't realize it was a toy and was a little frightened by it. Don't worry, though, Cloud has his kitty to make him feel safe at night. And the other members of the Choir, of course. :)

I just bought Loveless, and the main little guy is too adorable...I've been so SUPER warned about the end that I'm kinda dragging my feet on finishing. Apparently, I will be out ordering the manga to get the whole story, and that disappoints us, my love. It disappoints us greatly.

Gaia, don't encourage him. He's already written all our names at least twenty times each. :)

I'm not sure when Cloud will be back, he's having a lot of fun observing L. Still thinks he'll be a great detective, the adorable little spikyhead. And Angeal's around. Last I saw, he was polishing the Buster. The real Buster, unfortunately. :)

I just Google until I find episodes stored somewhere or other, and if that's unsuccessful, I utilize the powers of Netflix. That's how I watched Loveless.

Genesis hasn't spoken to me today, but I did hear him go shrieking off into Midgar early this morning. *facepalm* What did you do, and how much whining will I be subjected to for it? :)

Okay, so I had to look up "sakujo" when Genesis said it, thinking it was a neat new Japanese curse word (I collect curses, they come in handy at work!). It led to a definition and a few video clips of Mikami doing some kind of blood-drenched ballet...or something? WTF is up with that? I mean, in the manga he sits at his desk sedately writing names, saying "delete" each time with Ryuk looking over his shoulder. Please tell me GenGen isn't flailing around like an electrocuted frog when he's playing with his Death Note.

Aw, Mikami doesn't do his uber-crazy, ranting ballet of death in the manga? I haven't gotten far in the manga yet, but that's disappointing. It's what made me like him. I enjoy watching people's mental illnesses play out.

Sometimes Genesis does a murderous pirouette here and there, but he also sits and glowers and laughs in a way that really unnerves me. Also Angeal, because it sounds a lot like his plotting-to-grope-the-Puppy laugh.

Plus, I have been listening to the opening theme (The heavy metal one)and have thoroughly creeped out everyone around me.

Loveless is good though. You should read/watch it. The tail and ears thing is VERY intriguing.
Genesis will be happy.
