Typing Woes and Randomness, Continued

Still typing. Still making mistakes that prompt tiny giggles. To make it easier on me, I hereby declare that Rufus Shinra will now be known as "the ice president". We'll get him some white furs, or dress him up like Shiva, I don't know. Raise your hand if you find that hot, because I want to know who you are.

Drowsy still too, which doth not help. New medications are good, they help Amarissia be less down and anxious, but gah, the drowsiness. And since Japanese also makes me drowsy, I'm gonna completely forget whatever I've absorbed about te verbs. Beastly things. And when the Choir mocks me, do they do it with the polite forms? Nooooo. I have to rely on sweet Cloudy to innocently translate for me.

Also, my head is spinning. The Madness of Angels has officially broken 600 reviews. I cannot process this. Thank Gaia it didn't happen during my recent block, or the pressure might've caused irreparable damage. I'm very happy and grateful. And sad, because the writing is only four chapters or so from being done. I don't want it to be over!

I will mention this again at some point, but fair warning - I've got family visiting in about a week, and that'll be ten days of entertaining and catching up. Please have yaoi waiting for me when I return in a crazed Zangeal-withdrawal.

One last thing. So the big FFVII announcement was about AC Complete and not an FFVII remake? I need to learn how to write threatening letters in Japanese. Just for, um, my own curiosity.

I'm determined to learn the polite forms first, since that's apparently what foreigners are supposed to do. It's not much help with the Choir, though, or Japanese movies, since I have to do a mental translation of verbs I hear that I barely know anyway. Gah, the verbs are killing me. :)

i find it's been easier to learn both at once. polite forms for tourists at work, and informal for my own use.
maybe you could have the choir help you study :D

Thankfully, my course-thing is beginning to give me the plain forms with the polite forms, which is indeed helpful. Whew!

If only the Choir would help me! They refuse, because they're afraid (well, Zack's afraid) that if I learn well enough, I'll start writing my angsty stories in their own language, and they object to that.

You know, if you don't want to stop writing Madness you could always do a sequel. Like, Zack and Angeal in the Lifestream watching Cloudy go fight Seph! Heh, j/k. Madness is just so much fun to read. -doesn't want it to end-

Thank you! I'm teaching myself, which is probably more difficult, 'cause I have to keep pushing myself. Also, every method these days focuses on conversational language, and I'm better at learning the boring grammar stuff.

My big complaint was particles...then I kinda got those, and then it was "te" verbs, which my course taught me ten lessons ago and only just showed me what they're used for now...and now I'm just generally annoyed with myself for not picking it up faster. :)

According to some stuff I've read, it looks like it's stupidly likely there will be a remake, but it's not been put in writing yet. The head-honcho dude really wants the entire original FFVII team for it but they're all busy doing FFXIII stuff (*growls*) so it's all up in the air at the moment. But he said to expect something really spontaneous and out of the blue, it only took them two days to decide that they were going to make CC afterall. ^_^ congrats on the reviews! I'm really looking forward to the Cloud/Seph stuff.

Anyway, good luck adjusting to your medications. I just got put on new ones too, and I hate them. Bleah. Also good luck on the Japanese! It gets to be a killer around the third semester. I've forgotten most of what I learned.

And if they ever do make a Final Fantasy VII remake, they better make a remake of VI as well. Kefka in 2D pixels was awesome. Kefka in 3D OMG-TEH-POLYGONS will be even better. Plus, fruity laughter that is not in 8bit sound = epic win. [/FFVI patriotism]

I'm learning Japanese on my own, which means I have only me to motivate me. No wonder my progress is so slow. :) I get excited when I hit a word I learned from FFVII, though.

While SE is taking requests, a sequel to VIII wouldn't suck. Seifer and Squall have to admit their feelings for each other at some point. I mean, look at what all that pent-up sexual frustration did to them before.

I'd dig a sequel movie to VIII. I'd love to see something like that. Seifer and Squall DO need to work things out, but knowing Sqeeeeeeeeeeeenix it would be so Squinoa centric you'd want to puke. It was supposed to be a romantic game, after all. *Rolls eyes*

My sister and I were bored and we wrote part of the supposed script for an FFVI movie, but since the game's not open-ended like VII, we had some trouble. Also, FFVI characters aren't as slashable as VII and VIII are... There's, like, ten male playable characters and only three female characters. You'd think someone would give off a gay vibe! Apparently KH is becoming an anime *Cringes in terror*. I REALLY don't want to see that happen. I'm afraid of the Disney characters. *Runs away*

Oh, Squeenix. Just stop pretending! They're all gay, they're all screwing, in every game! Why else do you make the guys prettier than the girls?

To make matters worse, Squeenix has a bad reputation on it's animes. I watched Unlimited when I was fourteen... never... again. Though the Vincent character was pretty cool.

It's really amusing how pretty the boys are. They know that Yaoi sells well, they just don't want to openly make a yaoi game. Give it a few years... it'll get there. XD
