A New Perspective on Over-Tired Typing

Question. Are you ever so distracted or drowsy that you begin to type as well Zack sits still?

Zack: "Hey!"

And at the same time, in such an odd mood that your mistakes make you giggle stupidly? My mistakes, when they aren't the typical teh for the (and the weird panic that sometimes hits me when I have to type Sephiroth) even help me practice my Japanese. I try to type sore, 'cause Gaia knows I need that one a lot, and instead I get ore, the Japanese male informal I. That's right, right, Zacky?

Zack: "I told you. I am not helping you in your quest to defile me in my native language."

Just moments ago, I attempted fun and wrote fune. Isn't that boat, or something? Maybe I'm just feeling suppressed guilt for neglecting my Japanese studies these past few days. I've just been more focused on the fate of Reno tied to Sephiroth's bed and not so much on asking for Mr. Yamada's phone number and address. Useless anyway, since I fear phones.

Oh, yes. And I updated The Madness of Angels. Those of you who read it, let me know if you find any amusing spelling errors.

Reno tied to Sephy's bed? Although I never wish for my precious Reno to be subjected to noncon, I adore Uke!Reno, for some odd reason. He doesn't act very Uke-ish, and yet in my opinion he should Uke in all his pairings. Hell, though, if you're writing anything Reno I'll be right there! In case you haven't noiced, I'm slightly (or more so) obsessed/in love with Reno.

I type like that all the time, regardless of whether I'm completely coherent or not. Though once I was talking to my friend, and she has a friend whose name starts with a Z, and even though he played no roll in the conversation, my sentence was something like, "Tell Zephiorth such and such..."

ROTFLAMO, Zephiorth? That could be a name for Zack/Sephiroth!

Reno is a challenge, since I'm not used to writing him, and to be fair, I'm trying to make him fiery and less submissive than my usual ukes. It's fun, though, I hope you'll like it when I finally finish it.

I'm fond of Reno too, I like his spunk. Uh, that came out wrong...

When I'm overtired, I make speaking mistakes, not writing ones. I speak both Spanish and English fluently, and when I'm tired enough I mix up pronunciations. So I read the word "Japanese" and pronounce it "Hapanesseh", or the word "quiero" and get "kero" instead.

I wouldn't have noticed any spelling errors in The Madness of Angels. I was too busy making incoherent little noises. That was utterly heartbreaking. I came very close to crying. I almost feel sorrier for Sephiroth than I do for Zack, though, because Zack at least has normal coping methods. Sephiroth doesn't even know what to do except keep himself in as tight control as possible even while the people most important to him die one by one. And now I'm depressing myself even worse. ;_;

Something I find myself saying to all my crying readers - thank you, and I'm sorry. :) Yes, Sephy doesn't feel comfortable expressing his feelings, even when he has any idea how. Zack will be trying to help him later on...

I have a background in French, so when I'm studying Japanese I sometimes mispronounce similar words - like "en" and "de". Very frustrating!

I didn't notice any spelling errors in Madness as I was trying to keep from crying. And, to be perfectly honest, while I /should/ be encouraging you to keep working on your Japanese, I'm more interested in seeing what happened to my Reno. I want to know what trauma he suffered at the hands of your Sephy that made him into suck a wreck! (His recovery is going very well though thanks to Rufus. *grins*)

:) The fic's going pretty well (although it's gotten long, so I'm typing it already, even though it's not done). We're through the Sephy-angst and into the aftermath, so expect even more pairings. Hee! I'll work on it tonight, if my new medications stop knocking me out too early.

It's done now! Since it's in two parts, the first will actually take less time to get up than the whole thing would have. Not too long, I hope, it depends on how far ahead I am on Madness. Mental note - check.

You'll see it soon! I can't wait to hear what you think. And you can give a copy to any psychiatrists Reno sees in the future. It is a fictionalized account, but the basics of what happened with Seph are in there.

I think I only noticed "fluffly" for spelling stuff, though I admit I wasn't concentrating enough. I need to read the chapter again 'cause my first attempt was rather pitiful. Since I was too lazy to change my music playlist, while I was reading there ended up being constant cheery Japanese background music going on, and then I got distracted 'cause I kept picturing Zack in cute amusing weird parodies due to the songs. orz;;;

I stopped reading soon after 'cause I knew the mental pictures weren't going to do me any good when trying to read something serious.
