Question, Important!

Okay, Madness of Angels problem. I'm through Nibelheim and the evil, evil lab, and now...okay, I have no idea where Zack and Cloud go from there. I mean, I know they stop in Gongaga, I know they end up in Banora, I know they're heading to Midgar. But can anyone point me somewhere that will give me a better idea of their route? I don't even know where Banora is. I think I put it near Midgar.

Yes, I'm not above waffling a little. Okay, a lot. But more info would be great. Help? Thank you.

Alright I know I'm just a random person that has been reading your stories and is just now commenting but still 8D x.x

Anyhow lesse as for their route, I think from Nibelheim they perhaps stopped by Cosmo Canyon since from Nibel theres those forests near cosmo but they cant really get anything from it >_> SO maybe Nibel, to cosmo, stop by gongaga...thats what i got so far X.X * needs a map lol *

Not sure if this can help now that I got a map, but perhaps the two went from Nibel, traveled to Cosmo and get everything they need. Keep on traveling to Gongaga, afterwards perhaps go that weapon seller on that peninsula thats nearby, not sure if Zack is willing to go through Golden Saucers sinking sands xD, perhaps get a boat from weapon seller sail onto Mideel * sees Banora as a place near Mideel since the lifestream but she doesnt know * From Mideel get a boat to get to Fort Condor. Maybe afterwards they get a ride to Junon and from there hitch a ride in that yellow truck onto midgar?...okay maybe thats a bit long but maybe this can help ya out?

Try that site out. There's nothing definite about Banora's location but there might be some helpful tips.

Banora is near Mideel-- according to Final Fantasy Wikia. I would trust them, if I were you.

Also, you can imagine if they were heading that way that they would pass by Gongaga, Cosmo Canyon, maybe Corel and Costa del Sol to catch a ship to Mideel, which leads you to Banora.

Gah, I totally screwed myself. I had Zack say (vaguely, but still) awhile back that Banora isn't very far from Midgar, so I'll have to tweak the route to allow for that. But I'm much more confident now!

My impression is that they headed west (not east) to the coast, where Cissnei intercepted them and let them go after giving them a bike (according to Crisis Core game). The journey to the coast should have taken a long time since it was completely by foot (and remember that it was about 9 months from the escape from Nibelheim until they were ambushed on the cliffs near Midgar (according to Ultimania for Crisis Core)). From the coast, they were on bike all the way to Gongaga where Lazard joined them, then I assume they caught a ship to Banora but kept the bike with them. After Banora, they headed north back to the continent, but eventually had to hitch a ride on that truck. And the rest, as they say, is history.
