A yaoi-questionnaire meme!
How old were you when you first heard/saw any form of yaoi?
Hmmmm. Don't recall. Don't suppose Queer As Folk counts.
-If you can remember, what form was it? (Fanfic, picture, etc.)
I'm sure it was fanfic, but I don't remember more than that. Might have been LOTR, actually.
-Who introduced you to yaoi, if anyone did?
No one, just happened upon it.
-Have you recently corrupted anyone with yaoi this month? If so, how many?
I'm a secretive yaoi fan, and I don't interact with many people, so no.
-How many people have you scarred so far?
See above answer.
-Could you turn your straight friends gay/curious?
I may have done so with the Choir. But otherwise...I tried to turn my closest guy friend in high school, even loaned him Culture Club CDs, but it didn't take.
-Would you corrupt your own spouse into liking yaoi if he/she didn’t?
Doubt I'll marry, but he'd have to be at least open to it.
-Have you ever corrupted children? If so, what grades were they?
LOL, no.
-If you had kids, would you corrupt them, too?
I wouldn't force them to read yaoi or anything, but I'd make it clear that there's nothing wrong with it.
-Do any of your relatives know you like yaoi?
No. My one sister would love it (two sisters, actually) and my parents wouldn't care, but the first sis would want to read it, and I wouldn't like that.
-Do you read anything yaoi related?
Of course! At the moment, only FFVII. My obsessive nature is very precise, one thing at a time.
-Do you write anything yaoi related?
Everything I write is yaoi-related. As Amarissia, at least.
-Do you draw anything yaoi related?
Nope, can't draw.
-Do your conversations always include yaoi?
Online - yes. Off - no.
-Which do you like best: a “uke” or “seme” character?
Zack: *eyeroll* "Both are necessary, right?"
Right! My favorite characters tend to be ukes, though.
-What do you prefer in a yaoi story/drawing: dirty or clean
I like both, depends on mood.
-Do you like feminine or masculine characters?
*looks at Choir* Uh, I shouldn't call them feminine while they're right there. Let's say, pretty.
-Do you like male shota-con?
If it's treated seriously and well-written, yes.
-Do you like yaoi incest?
Depends...aren't many pairings I like that make it possible. But in FFVIII, one of my favorites is Laguna/Squall, so yeah, I guess.
-Do you like soft plots in a fanfic/doujinshi?
If it's entertaining anyway.
-Do you like raw/relentless love or timid/shy love in a yaoi scene?
I prefer timid/shy, but I can like both.
-Do you like mindless, pointless yaoi fanfics/doujinshis (PWP)?
Mindless - no. Pointless - yes.
-Do you enjoy your fav. character(s) tortured during a yaoi scene?
I like psychological torture because it gives opporunity for hurt/comfort. Actual physical torture I don't like, and only read it if I like other parts of the story enough to put up with it. I don't like physical pain.
-Getting raped in a yaoi scene?
If it's treated seriously and well-written. That's pretty much my stance on everything squicky.
-Being tentacle raped in a yaoi scene?
*Intrigued*
Zack: "Oh, please Gaia, don't ever let her find an opportunity for this!"
-Having bondage performed on him in a yaoi scene?
I'm good with that, yeah, if it's gentle.
-Involving food in a yaoi scene?
Rare to find stuff like that I like. A big exception comes to mind, Marchwarden23's bit of awesomeness that has barred me from using the word 'refrigerator'. I get dreamy-eyed and forget what I'm doing and threaten Zack with dessert toppings, so the Choir makes me say "r word".
-Imagine yourself in the scene?
I was early on given the impression that Mary Sues are evil, and it's stuck. The closest I come to self-insertion (stop giggling, Zack) is making male characters say the sort of things I would in that situation. Malakh in The Madness of Angels leaps to mind.
-Would you dominate the world to spread yaoi?
I would make it required reading, yes. :)
-Be honest. How corrupt do you think you are?
Three words. Un. Squick. Able.

*Intrigued*
I love that you are intrigued by that and Zack got all DX'd >> << Yes that's totally a word.

What does it mean and how do you pronounce it?
And yep, I'm all for tentacles, I just don't know where to find that sort of thing. :)

"Except for Reeve. He's making me a cat."
LOL, brilliant line. I think I'll stitch it into a pillow or something.

Thanks for answering that! It has made my day! You really are quite corrupt! :p

Hah, I should challenge writers to try to squick me. I'm telling you, can't be done.
