Success, snagged the shirt I wanted! Also had a fangirl moment. My mall's selection of anime memorabilia is tiny, but I found and just had to buy a keychain of L in his usual crouching pose. I shall wear it on my purse in honor of my very first anime. That is how I rationalize spending six bucks on a keychain. :)

Also got comfy socks (I have such a thing for socks it's a borderline fetish, rather like many women with shoes), which my aching feet are thanking me for. And a French-English dictionary, because I'm trying to brush up on my old first foreign language. Then I got the hell out of Barnes & Noble, because one of those skank 'Real Housewives' is doing a book-signing and I didn't want to risk being contaminated. I comforted myself with a nice milkshake, felt slightly ill after eating too many french fries, and now I am ready to unwind in my pjs and maybe get some writing done.

All in all, I handled the day well, got all my assignments in on time and haven't freaked out and terrified the normies lately. Much. So...pretty good. I hope you all, my dears, are having a nice day. If you see the Choir, tell them they're back on duty and I want them here pronto.

It's...sort of black and silver, with an empire waistline, and it FLOWS. The pattern makes me think of fleur de lis 9which may be why I like it) although it doesn't actually have one.

Huh. I guess that makes me the friendly neighborhood dope peddler--I used to knit socks quite a bit. There's a German brand of sock yarn that knits up into stripes, way cool. I need to get back into knitting sometime soon.

I'm always losing socks, I can't ever find both halves of the same pair. *laughs* I blame the goblins. It's why I've never worn a matching pair of socks. *grins* Do you have that problem, too?

Oh popcorning is when guinea pigs hop into the air, and almost immediately after landing, hop up again. Like a little kernel that suddenly jumps and pop into a fluffy white puff of popcorn. Mr. Bubbles doesn't turn into a popcorn but just chirps and hops around. Very lovely to watch :)

I heart socks too!! I like shoes too but I like socks more. There is a whole store in my mall based around socks! I got emoticon socks with different emoticons on them and rubber ducky socks with rubber duckies on them! YAY SOCKS! -dances in socks-
