Same old same old with the title.

Good news - got my new glasses, love 'em and am told they look good. Bad news - still getting used to them. Have a terrific headache and everything looks all curved and like it's coming at me. I have terrible depth perception as it is, now, whew...

But, got mistaken for a sixteen-year-old today. I'm twenty-eight, physically anyway. LOL

Am watching Waking Ned Devine, because I've long meant to and will apparently do anything our lovely Mona tells me to. PLEEEEEASE don't rec me Lost Highway. My sister did that once and it left me in a fetal position for hours.

Progress is slow but happening on new Zangeal fic, and the next chapter of Pendulum. Will make an attempt again at both when headache goes away.

Yay new glasses! It sucks trying to get used to new glasses, the headaches and dizziness are horrible. But I'm glad you like them, I'm sure you look good in them.

Congrats on being mistaken for a kid! That used to happen to me a lot. Sometimes it was a situation where a "mom" would yell at me, thinking I was a teenager (usually in barn-related situations - baseball caps drop years off your looks), and when I would reply in my impeccably polite grown-up voice it caused great embarrassment. As it should.

But bummer about adjusting. I hope it doesn't take long.

Yeah, I'm always mistaken for older because I act a lot more mature in person. My mom tells people I'm 20 going on 40 and I'm like Nooooooo! I may act older and stuff infront of people but at home I watch cartoons and act like I'm 12. XD

AAAAAAHHHHHHHH WAKING NED DEVINE is basically all my grandpas in the same film. And an uncle or two. Ohhh LORDY I adore that movie. The part with the dentures used to kill me laughing when I was five. :D My dad can do the best reenactment of that whole scene with my Uncle John and Grandpa Ed. Huzzah for our Irish roots!!!!! :D :D :D

Head is better, and I really liked the movie. Especially that old bat getting thrown off the cliff. :) And they got to keep the money! Perfect Irish ending, tragedy and joy both.

I got carded once when I was 27. The waiter thought I was an underage boy. XD Good times. Not likely to happen again now that I have longer hair, but I still look a little younger than chronological age (and definitely don't act my age).

Police keep pulling me over when I drive places and demanding to see my license. It's kinda embarassing. *laughs* And I get carded a fair amount because I look a lot younger than I am. I think it's because I'm short. *grins*

Is it strange that I find that scene with the phone booth so funny? I'm a terrible person. Every time it just goes sooooaaaaaring through the air I cannot help but die of laughter. Especially since she's just gotten out of her scooter and started walking. I find that absurdly funny as well.
