Once again, ignore the subject line. Just me MST3K-ing.

GAH, Hotmail, I swear to all the gods if you keep changing your layout for no reason whatsoever every time I step away, I will kill you with a spork. Somehow. I'll figure it out.

Started my school program today, so a little overwhelmed and head is aching a bit, because I sped through everything available to do in both my classes this morning. I have live, streaming lectures tonight and tomorrow night, more discussion board stuff to do, etc., and studying. Studying is now part of my life again. Actually, I never really studied much, so YAY, I'm screwed. :) Thank you all for the encouragement.

Now I just have to figure out a way to talk to my classmates and professors like Amarissia talks to you guys (minus the smut), because I seem to have, out of apprehension, reverted to my old high school habit of talking like a complete robot. Every sentence is 'one does this', 'one must consider that', while my classmates are talking IN ALL CAPS YO or like, y'know, human beings. *facepalm* High-school English flashbacks. Every time I dared answer a question, everyone either stared or asked the teacher to please translate. GAH.

I am actually writing still, but it's going rather slow. I'm still working out where to go with Pendulum, and Genesis has hijacked my new Zangeal short for the purposes of tormenting his ShinRa-issued heterosexual psychiatrist. As he tends to do. I can only promise there will be kink. Genesis would never get in the way of Zangeal sexing, especially the extra-naughty, wee-let's-involve-the-Buster variety.

Is there a messageboard for your course? I know mine has something similar and people can use that to gain their 10% class participation mark rather than answer questions in lectures (oh the joy of catering to shy bookworms).

I feel you, that happened a lot in my literature courses, except they were in Spanish XD. But yeah, keep writing like you are and maybe they'll get the clue that there is an actual language with grammar rules out there. Maybe.

Ah, there's your problem: you're channeling Sephiroth instead of Amarissia. You need to save him for reports and term papers. I wouldn't worry too much about how you sound. Your profs are secretly relieved to read posts that aren't in textspeak or all caps.

Regarding the Buster Sword, there had better be a latex barrier involved or I'm not shaking hands with Angeal any time soon. Just sayin'.

Yay school! Talking to people is always hard, no matter who they are. Especially if they are kids who don't understand ANYTHING. Heheh. I never really studied either but I managed to get the grades.

As for talking to normal people... Er... imagine they're all characters of yours? That or bring Zacky along and let him talk to them. Might get you a few weird looks, but such is the price of being awesome :D

My Aspie sister suggests, without reading what I've already written, that you imagine a character that you like, and ask yourself what they would say. GMTA? She also points out that everyone's probably feeling just as awkward as you, and that no one really pays attention when you mess up, not like in high school. Did that help?

You can think that the students are us! Only they aren't perverted people that know Final Fantasy....You can talk about what happened in class instead.....minus a lot of smut.....Uh, wow, that's sorta hard.....How in the world did I survive school again?

Studying is overrated.....Because unless you really want to remember the reason why x is equal to whatever number, I find studying useless. Usually, I remember almost everything from the lesson and do well on the tests. Almost never studied in life......Wow, don't I sound full of it today? *shakes head* The chewing gum is getting to me.

You can ask the professor for extra credit if you don't participate in class....Doesn't that count for a percentage of your grade?

Hmmmmm, just forget that they're not us if you can. Otherwise, you can start dubbing them as other people. If they really say 'yo' on any regular basis I suggest naming one or more as Reno and avoid giving them any reason to creep on you.

And I didn't notice anything even remotely resembling a robot. It was more of a Rurouni Kenshin vibe to me...

Of course, there's alway the old stand by wherein, if all else fails, you pretend they don't exist. *shrugs* It works for me. So what classes are you taking? (Forgive me if you mentioned it in an earlier post, but I'm working backwards on what I've missed during my computer blackout.)
