SQUEE

Had to reschedule eye-doctor appointment, and am not good with sudden changes in schedule...so, to cheer myself up and reward myself for finally getting my ass in gear with the self-publishing thing, I decided to finally buy a plushie. I've been wanting one of my own ever since I started to play with Cloud's extensive collection...the only question was what kind. Kumagoro was a strong possibility, but Cloud has one of those, and of course Ryu-chan has the real thing and gleefully swings it at me when he comes to play.

Then I thought a Zack one would be perfect, but they don't seem to exist. *sad face* But then I found this:

BABY CLOUD! HOLDING AN AERITH DOLL! He's so much like Choir!Cloud, I knew at once I had to have him. *bounce* Now I just have to be patient until he arrives, and keep Sephy and Zack from stealing him.

Sephy: "Do not be concerned. I have the real Cloud." *snuggles*
Cloud: *giggle, cuddles*

OMIGOD, I want it nooooowwwwwwww!

Mokona is a recurring character in CLAMP manga (you do know who CLAMP are, right? They're a manga studio of yaoi fangirls and have the most beautiful art ever).

Here's a picture of the one I'm talking about (there are three): http://mascot.crystalxp.net/png/banana-boy-mokona-noir-2915.png

That one's the only black one. The other two are white and... well, it's kind of hard to exlpain. You're better off just watching the anime/reading the manga. You'll like xxxHOLiC, it has lots of Japanese myths and spirits and Yuuko rules the world. Also, ambiguous relationship between male leads. Oh yes.

...and if you don't want to just have ambiguous relationships, go and check out Legal Drug, which is CLAMP's official 'okay, it's several years to late, but we're coming out of the big we love yaoi closet and we brought bishies'.

You might have heard of their most famous series, Cardcaptor Sakura, otherwise known as Cardcaptors in the West, where it received a truly awful dub. The manga made it pretty damn clear that everything was a love triangle. Sakura had a crush on Yukito who has a crush on Touya (Sakura's brother). Tomoyo has a crush on Sakura and one of Sakura's friends has a crush on one of their teachers. It's like a gentle introduction to the wonderful world of slash and femmeslash with a side order of some sweet little het.

Heh heh, sorry, I'm a huge CLAMP fangirl.

Hmm, the picture is just an X that says 'No leech'.

CLAMP? I've heard of them but don't know much...I'll check 'em out!

Damn, I hate it when pictures do that. Well, just type in Mokona in a search thing and you'll get pictures of it.

Oh and while I remember, one of their completed manga had a canonical relationship between two men. It's called Clover, and while the relationship wasn't a focus in the main arc, there was a side story that dealt with them.

I love CLAMP.

Omigod, that is cute...and oddly familiar. Maybe it's only that there so much cuteness in manga. :)
