...write a new version of that Sound of Music song and convince a handful of English voice actors to sing it at the end of a convention panel. Seriously, I think about these things. The other night I actually started writing it, but I didn't take notes...

Similarly, I started, STARTED, on a new Decorum. Don't shriek at me, it's like pulling teeth at the moment, and it's gonna be a depressing one. I'm trying to start it out all cheerful, but...certain things have to happen for the series' canon, so might as well get it over with, ne? I'm calling it "Irreparable".

I was gonna work on that today, and correspondence, and other thingies, but once again I got sidelined by evil YouTube and its filthy FMA doujinshi shiny videos. And now my butt hurts. FROM SITTING, Genesis. Sheesh. My slight cold is likely to keep me up for a while, so maybe I'll get some writing done tonight. Might be on the Mirage of Blaze thing, though. Well, I always get stuff done eventually, right?

I am SO gonna write that song. And tell Vic Mignogna that he must perform it, complete with dance steps, or I'll sic Genesis on him.

Genesis: "I can get a Roy Mustang costume in five minutes. Er, don't ask how."
Sephy: "Cloud, settle down, it's nearly bed-time."
Cloud: "Wolk! I'm Wolk!"

Ignore Cloud, he thinks he can speak Dutch...

I tried to make Vinny sing some of the Beauty and the Beast songs back when I was part of the pit orchestra for that. He wouldn't, of course. But my friend and I thought it would be the coolest thing if we could make FFVII into a musical. Or at least Advent Children. I don't think you'd be able to write enough music to properly cover 60+ hours of gameplay.

Whee, new Decorum soon! Even if it is depressing, I can't wait!

I should put MoB on the list. How long is it exactly? I don't think I'll have time for it if it's another 78-episode thing like Kyou Kara Maou (which stole half my summer, and I blame you XP).

And before I forget, I have a video rec for you! It's a lovely OVA called Level C, -very- smutty and wonderful, though since it's from the 80's or 90's, you get the hilarious censorship issues (ie Ken-doll bodies, invisible cocks, etc.). That aside, very yummy!

FFVII The Musical, it must be done! Whenever Sephy does solos we can have Kadaj, Loz and Yazoo as his back-up dancers. :)

MoB is an easy watch (in terms of time, not what it does to your brain), 13 episodes. And then 3 OVAs, twenty minutes each, and you really want to get to those. EEEEE, groping! :)

LOL, Sephy triplets as backup dancers! If I didn't have so much school crap, I'd totally write songs to insert into random Advent Children scenes. Like Marlene would have to sing the backstory at the beginning, Rufus/Cloud/Turks scene would be in song, Cloud angst on the hilltop, Tifa would have a song with "dilly-dally-shilly-shally", Kadaj's schtick with the kids, Vinny/Cloud encounter, and then all the fight scenes at the end would be musical. Except maybe the motorcycle one. And Vincent would need to sing something about getting a phone because it's the most amusing line ^ ^

Vincent: "I am NOT singing."

Mmk, MoB on the list! Do you possibly have links where I could find the episodes?

Ooh, you are completely forgiven and will get a basket of muffins if you can get Angeal to scream "HEIKA" Gunter-style! And I think English Conrad is English Sephy, or so says Wiki. I watched the first dubbed episode and started shrieking in pain, so the memories are a little fuzzy.

HEE, Tifa's number would have to feature 7th Heaven's patrons backing her up, and Cid tottering around drunkenly in the background. The song ends when he pulls the stage curtain down on all of them. :)

Whoa whoa seriously? I know Japanese Sephy is Japanese Conrad, but the English too? Really? Sephy likes that he voices Conrad, because Conrad adores Yuuri and Cloud voices Yuuri. :)

I reacted similarly. But I dropped the DVD remote under the bed and there were some tense moments of scrambling for it, with the Choir wailing in the background...

*borrows Cloud's kity to pet, Bond-villain-style* Weeelll, I suppose I could really push myself on this Decorum and get it done. Zack angst? Oh, yes. I'm talking screaming, crying, making the whole 1st Class wibble, appearance by Hojo, the works. Naturally I'll write it anyway, but hmm, could use some encouragement. Maaaaybe assurances that I'll be getting more of what I want too?

Cloud: *whisper* "What do you think she's gonna ask for?"
Genesis: "'Remenissions'. She was just rereading that one. I can tell because of the particular way 'Geal is squeezing the air out of Puppy's lungs."
Zack: *scrambling* "Seriously, I'm fine, you can let go."
Angeal: *squeezes* "It will be 'Deeper Understanding'. She practically has it memorized."
Genesis: "I want more 'Set Me Up in Slow Motion'. I mean, Puppy is in EmoGunman's bed! We all know what that leads to. What it should lead to, at least. Please please, Goddess."
Angeal: "That one, though, had the interesting effect of causing impressionable little Cloud to address Amarissia as 'mannerless fuck' for nearly a whole day."
Zack: "Ha, that was awesome. Almost as good as me getting to punch Genesis and call him a cunt."

Would you guys be quiet and let me think? *wibbling, drops cat* Who am I kidding, I'd freak out over any of it! I'd trade Genesis's body!

Dr. Avery and Dr. Alexis were both waiting in Zack's room in medical when Zack, Angeal, Sephiroth, and Genesis stopped in to pick up the few scattered belongings Zack had there. Zack had expected it, since he hadn't been given a check up before he'd gone off for the questioning, but that didn't stop his stomach from sinking like a rock into his shoes at the sight of them sitting there in their regal doctorly manner with their clipboards and sympathetic expressions. In fact, his first instinct upon seeing them was to run, to turn around and shove through the others and run as fast as he could for as long as he could.

Instead, he stepped further into the room with a strained, polite smile, and murmured a greeting. The doctors stood, and the flutter and shifting of their white lab coats as they moved nearly had Zack choking on the surge of adrenaline fear that rushed through him. He pretended it was exhaustion that had his hand trembling when he shook Dr. Alexis's hand, and if he couldn't quite get a full sentence out the first few tries, it was only because his lips were so badly chapped that almost any movement made them pull and split further. He let go of Dr. Alexis's hand and shook the other physician's, who was someone he'd never seen before, but knew immediately.

"Hi, Lieutenant Fair," the doctor said, "I'm—"

"Dr. Avery," Zack finished for him with a small smile. "And you can just call me Zack. You were the field medic, right?"

Shocked, Dr. Avery nodded. "Yes, I...How did you know?"

"Your hand," Zack said, pointing. "You're missing part of your ring finger. I could feel it."

"On the flight?" Avery asked, voice very soft. He'd lost the tip of that finger years ago on a mission where he'd been the field medic. It had been shot off.

Zack nodded. "Yeah. You were on my right side, holding my shoulder."

"That's right," Dr. Avery said in that same soft, bewildered tone. He felt ill.

"Thank you for that, by the way," Zack said sincerely, forcing his polite smile to grow a little more. "For not letting the others strap me down. I heard you arguing with them. I know it would've been safer and all to keep me from moving, but..." he shrugged casually. "Anyway, thanks."

"You're welcome," Dr. Avery answered faintly. Zack had felt the details of a hand on his shoulder that night. He had felt everything. Dr. Avery felt suddenly very light-headed, and had to sit down again, his mind reeling, his stomach lurching.

"Zack," Dr. Alexis found his voice first, but Avery could hear the same hollow, near-despairing taint to it that was in his own. "We'll only keep you a few minutes longer, I know you're ready to go home. We have your test results back, and wanted to discuss them with you. The generals may stay and hear as well, if you'd—"

"No," Zack said in a firm, strong voice that was almost surprising, though it wasn't overly loud. "No, I'd rather it just be me, if that's okay." He didn't turn to look at Genesis or Angeal or Sephiroth, all of who kept their features carefully schooled, though their posture had changed slightly, enough to give away their surprise at the abruptness of Zack's answer.
