Well, yeah, and I'd feel odd just throwing it up here, don't want to give anyone the impression that I'm jumping fandoms or anything. 'Cause I'm not, I even started that new Zangeal mutli-chapter, and I'm typing a new Decorum, I just - *hides Yami No Matsuei fic and notes for a Gravitation one*

Both death_eyes and death_note are general Death Note communities that accept fanfiction posts--all adult content in a locked post with a warning, though. dn_yaoi accepts adult content, as long as it doesn't involve minors. deathnote_fics probably only requires a warning.

Then you could always find the pairing communities. mellomatt (Mello/Matt, obviously), rxl_fans (Light/L).

:( Why do you deny us over at fanfiction your amazingness? There's nothing wrong with posting in more than one fandom, I have three on my account, I have no idea how many Hanjuuluver and Strange and Intoxicating -rsa- have. I'm sure no one will think you're jumping fandoms as long as you're still doing Crisis Core stuff. Not to mention you'd gain a whole new fanbase of Death Note obsessies. Of course it's your choice where you post your brilliance.

I go to adultfanfiction.net too, sometimes, but...LOL. I think "Madness" had made me spoiled, I need a bigger audience than there seems to be there. I'd like to freak out as many people as possible. But maybe...thank you!

I don't know if this is possible, but if you upload a totally random chapter to ff.net, go in to edit it, hit the html button, completely erase the chapter and then copy/paste your html chapter in and save it...that may work? Sounds like a lot of work, but so is trying to reformat everything. Worth a try, maybe. I'm probably just full of it. Just trying to help :D

I don't think the people who run it care about dark, the only thing I've heard people getting reported for is explicit smut, and considering how much smut is already on the site, not to mention your own profile, I wouldn't worry about it. I've read a lot of dark, effed up stuff on there, both smutty and otherwise. Just make sure you put a warning on it.

When posting to your journal, to make an entry "friends only," at the bottom of the post, there is a section (VERY bottom) that says "Show this entry to:" and you can select who.

When making posts in communities "members only," you do the same thing. "Show this entry to:" and choose members. :D That makes it locked.

Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed reading DN immensely, I just have no interest in the fandom, so I might miss out on your fine talents should you not post them here. Maybe set up a filter for it here as well as posting to ff.net? FYI, I've read some pretty graphic shit on ff.net, so I'm certain you won't run into any problems posting yours. It's great to be in a few fandoms and I encourage this sort of thing! =D

Firstly, I agree with the rest, stick it on ff.net as well. Frankly, what you've got up there already vastly oversteps the allowed ratings, so there can't be much harm in going all the way :P While DN isn't the darkest ficdom I've read (that honour goes to RoyEd FMA ficdom), it has a lot of noncon, and a lot of shota, and a lot of really, really bizarre perversion, and most of it on ff.net. So you'll be joining the crowd ;D Knowing you you'll be completely blowing the crowd out of the water, but nonetheless :P

Other places; your best bet is probably the pairing communities, they tend to accept anything. This involves Near, I assume? There used to be a good comm for all Wammy's Boys pairings, but I can't find it or remember what it is, lol. Deathnote_fics takes anything, I think someone already mentioned it; it doesn't have the biggest readership, but it's not bad. Honestly, I'm not that sure, because when I was writing a lot of Death Note I posted almost exclusively on dn_contest, which is hands down the most amazing comm I have ever been part of. The standard of work is absolutely phenomenal. And we accept *anything*, lol. I haven't been there in months, but I'm thinking of heading back soon, since I'm getting back into DN. If you're up for promptfic, drop in. Very much worth it. Same if you're just looking for stuff to read...there's been some pretty insane stuff there ;D I'll never forget winning crack pairing week with Light x Watari (*is scarred for life by having written that..*). Has a lot of genfic, being prompt based, but a lot of yaoi as well, being DN XD

Really though, I'd say ff.net (and here, since it seems vast numbers of your readers are DN ficdom already :P). The DN ficdom is one of the few to really be based more on ff.net than LJ or anywhere else.

I can't wait to read it, anyhow (even if the thought of more disturbing than papertrained!Zack is slightly brain-breaking)! ;D

How brilliantly amazingly wonderful is Another Note? I just finished rereading it for about the 18th time :P Why oh why have so few people read it? :( Mello is so heartbreaking in it (well, and B, obviously. BxA is the only awesome yaoi pairing to have less canon pagetime than Mello and Matt XD).
