The Choir Prepares For Halloween, and An Anime Update

This week in anime, Amarissia is (possibly) foiled by her recent practice of checking Cartoon Network a few times a day for desensitization purposes. (And not at all for anime-with-eye-candy. Really.) Tell 'em what happened when I walked right into Naruto, guys.

Sephy: "She screamed. Into a pillow, which is better, but still."
Zack: "She also threatened me with a ceramic pumpkin if I didn't give the remote back."

And that would've been two things checked off my growing anime list, but then I looked again that night, and stumbled into a conversation in which 'alchemy' was, like, every other word, and I was like "Hmm, checked this one already. Hey, Sephy, I know this guy has short, dark hair, but he might be a very distant cousin." So he wandered over to look, and we saw a surprising sight.

Sephy: "Apparently, Cloud also has cousins. I must investigate this matter further."

*pout* Which means, of course, that I have to. (Be strong, Amarissia.) Basically, we spotted someone who, since we don't know his name, we have dubbed 'Mini-Cloud'. Also, guy-with-dark-hair mentioned a place that sounded almost like Nibelheim. And the kicker - Mini-Cloud seemed to be injured. Sephy will never leave me alone. So looks like I'll be giving Fullmetal Alchemist another chance. Good thing I like alchemy. Maybe I'll get a Homunculus out of it.

Sephy: "If Cloud has a cousin in trouble, don't you think it's our duty to investigate and see if we can help?"

You're the one who killed his mom.

Sephy: *covers Cloud's ears*
Cloud: *is busy putting together his Halloween costume*
Zack: "Okay, white shirt, jeans, blank stare, and I've got black eyeliner. Now we just have to dye your hair black, or find a wig that'll fit over it."
Sephy: "Why do you have black eyeliner?"
Zack: "Stole it from Reno. Don't ask why he had it, I'm sure we don't want to know."

Yes, Cloud is dressing up as Death Note's L, his new hero. He's already got the sitting position down and has started holding things between thumb and forefinger.

Cloud: "Except Silverstream. You can't hold kittens like that. But look, I can do it with my sword - oops."
Zack: "OW!"
Cloud: "Sorry, Zack. You should really watch where you put your feet."

Sephy is not dressing up, partly because any costume would only make him less hot and partly because he glared at me when I brought it up. Zack is going as a SOLDIER in love with his teacher but in denial.

Zack: "I am not in DENIAL!"

Very convincing, ne? I don't know about Genesis yet, as he's still off visiting my guru Scripta. It's very quiet here without him...I'm starting to miss him. I kinda hope he gives up on propositioning L soon and comes back. I have a surprise for him when he does.

Zack: *glare*

Don't worry, Zacky, it's not you. This time.
