"If by 'no' I mean 'yes', then maybe." - Genesis's answer when I asked him if he used the cherries he took from me for devious purposes.

By the way, Angeal is standing by to censor any cherry-related jokes any of you feel like making.

Angeal: *holds up censor button*

In other news, someone said 'Howdy, ma'am' to me today. WT? Is NJ the old west now? Also, yesterday I looked sixteen, dammit. I think it's this unintentionally low-cut shirt, it messes with people's heads and makes them talk to me and stuff, gah.

Same old same old with the title.

Good news - got my new glasses, love 'em and am told they look good. Bad news - still getting used to them. Have a terrific headache and everything looks all curved and like it's coming at me. I have terrible depth perception as it is, now, whew...

But, got mistaken for a sixteen-year-old today. I'm twenty-eight, physically anyway. LOL

Am watching Waking Ned Devine, because I've long meant to and will apparently do anything our lovely Mona tells me to. PLEEEEEASE don't rec me Lost Highway. My sister did that once and it left me in a fetal position for hours.

Progress is slow but happening on new Zangeal fic, and the next chapter of Pendulum. Will make an attempt again at both when headache goes away.

Am currently watching episode 50. Still like it, but getting a bit annoyed with all the dramatic tension being thwarted by silliness. I didn't sign up for this to spend whole episodes hanging out with OneFive's sisters and that weird magician guy.

Watching The Red Shoes, because our lovely Mona spoke highly of it, and yay, 'tis wonderfully creepy. Korea is right up there with Japan in their ability to make good horror movies.

But, for those of you who have seen I going color-blind, or are those shoes actually pink?

I can't wait for my new glasses to be ready...

I did know this at one point. Something about hemp competing with the paper industry and Willian Randolph Hearst throwing a big hissy fit, or something.

Also, the people in charge are stupid. Just in general.

Well, it's raining here, at least. And now, commence the randomness!

First, a merry Lughnasadh to you all on this ironically cloudy day. I command you to play this and twirl madly! Watch Cloud, he'll show you how it's done. Giggling is optional.

Next, yes, I've recced this one multiple times, but it's just so damn good, and since I'm trying to lure [ profile] gothicdragon752 into the Mirage of Blaze fandom...behold the pretty, pretty angst!

Those of you who have not joined the insane crack that is Hetalia Axis Powers, here's a handy link to episode one. Five minutes could change your fandom life.

And finally, been in a major survival-horror game mood the past few days, so let's have a tribute for each of my two favorite series - Silent Hill and Fatal Frame.

Enjoy or ignore, as you please, my dears! *hugs all*

My brain just yelled at me "I have to feed the chickens!"

I do not own any chickens.

I am faintly alarmed.

Once again, ignore the subject line. Just me MST3K-ing.

GAH, Hotmail, I swear to all the gods if you keep changing your layout for no reason whatsoever every time I step away, I will kill you with a spork. Somehow. I'll figure it out.

Started my school program today, so a little overwhelmed and head is aching a bit, because I sped through everything available to do in both my classes this morning. I have live, streaming lectures tonight and tomorrow night, more discussion board stuff to do, etc., and studying. Studying is now part of my life again. Actually, I never really studied much, so YAY, I'm screwed. :) Thank you all for the encouragement.

Now I just have to figure out a way to talk to my classmates and professors like Amarissia talks to you guys (minus the smut), because I seem to have, out of apprehension, reverted to my old high school habit of talking like a complete robot. Every sentence is 'one does this', 'one must consider that', while my classmates are talking IN ALL CAPS YO or like, y'know, human beings. *facepalm* High-school English flashbacks. Every time I dared answer a question, everyone either stared or asked the teacher to please translate. GAH.

I am actually writing still, but it's going rather slow. I'm still working out where to go with Pendulum, and Genesis has hijacked my new Zangeal short for the purposes of tormenting his ShinRa-issued heterosexual psychiatrist. As he tends to do. I can only promise there will be kink. Genesis would never get in the way of Zangeal sexing, especially the extra-naughty, wee-let's-involve-the-Buster variety.

Zack: "Oh no, no way, I told you I'm not letting anyone stick - "

C'mon, Zacky. Be a team player. You don't see Angeal all wigging about desecrating his sword, do you?

Angeal: *tries hard not to smile*
Zack: *POUT*

I get good internet, this is what I do with it. Behold, the Choir and I as South Park characters!

They're not very happy about this. )

Many of you have expressed interest in learning more about Genesis's mysterious boyfriend Sage, and our friend [ profile] emokirby24 has kindly obliged. You can meet him in this post of hers here. :)

Genesis: "Needless to say, he's much hotter than his picture. And a vampire, the non-sparkly kind. Now do be nice to my Sagey, dears."

Okay, so I haz the good internet, finally. But there was much dealing with people both in person and on the phone because Netgear likes to mess with my head, I Feel very much like a cat with its back arched and its hair sticking up and its eyes bugging out, like Silverstream does when he sees Genesis naked. You know what I mean, right Stella? About the cat thing, I mean.

Let's be honest, though, we've probably all seen Genesis naked by now.

So, catching up, excuse late replies, may possibly pass out for next few days, has school coming up. *waves hands frantically* Thingy. I but with thingy.

Zack: "She's finally cracked."

*hugs all*

This is Cloud!!! I saw a butterfly today!! A big yellow one, as big as the orange ones!!! And it was with a little white one, you think they're friends? I wish me and Seph could be butterflies together.

Okay, Cloudy, that's enough. :)

...and am getting the good internet on Saturday, GAH, delays suck, but it could have been worse. I will catch up on email and porn correspondence then, so if you don't hear from me till then, don't worry.

Cloud wants me to tell you all I saw deer when I had to go a few towns over to Red Bank. The Choir wasn't with me, but Cloud was very excited nonetheless. I was even more excited, because Red Bank is the home of Jay and Silent Bob, and guess who got to stand only inches away from the Buddy Christ statue from Dogma? Yes, me! Alas, my sister's pic of it on her cell phone didn't come out, but still! SQUEE! *luvs Dogma*

So, till later...hope you're all well. *hugs*

Cloud: *waves, giggles*

So, apparently it's gonna be:

•Russia: Jerry Jewell
•Germany: Patrick Seitz
•Japan: Christopher Bevins
•China: Clarine Harp
•England: Scott Freeman
•France: J. Michael Tatum
•America: Eric Vale
•Italy: Todd Haberkorn
•Canada: Eric Vale
•Cuba: Bob Carter
•Egypt: Scott Sager
•Finland: Clint Bickham
•Prussia: Jonathan Brooks

Eh. I'm not overly excited, though I do like some of these people. We'll see how it is come September.

In other news, Project Get Internet That Doesn't Suck commences on Thursday. I just have to manage till then by reminding myself how awesome it will be to have internet that doesn't suck. And maybe the muses will let me/make me (in Gen's case) write? Then school starts the 25th...well, that's orientation, classes don't begin till the 28th, but I like to start my fretting early.

*hugs you all* Thanks for all the encouragement, darlings.

The above is my random, Douglas-Adams style way of telling you that I won't be around as much the next few days, as I'm switching internet providers and I dunno how long it'll take. I do know I've had it with Sprint and their magically-disappearing usage bar, and also that something like "Do not panic" would have been more appropriate.

Also, after years of anxious holding back, Amarissia is going back to school starting this month. I found a nice accredited online school that will let me learn medical transcription, which I can then do while hiding from people and funnel the profits into studying what I really want to do, once I decide what that is. Long story short, won't be around quite as much. But you'll never get rid of me, nyah!

Sleepy now. Sleep now, watch more Bleach tomorrow. Yes. Sounds like a plan-thingy.

*hugs all*

Oh, and happy I-Was-This-Close-To-Being-English Day to my fellow Americans. Enjoy the scantily-clad parade dwellers who reek of sunscreen, alcohol and the freedom to watch bad reality TV.
